Hi again, i did got a message saying that temp root was successful but after that the phone rebooted so as i understand i lost temp root due to this reboot, right?
Cause if after the reboot i still have root then it's not temp it's permanent..
So maybe their is the error..

I'm subscribed and i will check this tread for fixes... BTW if i can help with logcat's or testing just tell me..
A temporary root, is quasi permanent. If your phone restarts, it is still rooted.
But the reason why it's "temporary", is because it's unstable. The only thing you will see on your screen is the statusbar. If you don't mind testing, let me know via PM now, I will reply with all the required parts of the tool.
To the best of my knowledge, all bugs have been removed from S Off & it should be working fine now.

S Off for 1.2x has now been tested (thanks anko184) & fixed.
S Off utility is working perfect now.
Also added support for HTC Dev unlocked devices in JB method. (Tool is used for simplified execution)

I can now call this tool Noobproof! :D

However, if you have suggestions or encounter any problem, please feel free to post here to inform me about it.

Since you have the latest ICS update, you are on Hboot 1.27.0000. This implies that you will need to use the JB method with temporary root for S Off. The JB method is the only S Off method for Hboot 1.2x & yes, it involves the wire trick. The wire trick is safe if you follow all instructions properly.
Alternatively, you can unlock your bootloader using HTC Dev and then use the rooting method, for which either S Off or unlocked bootloader may be required.
But remember, unlocking the bootloader using HTC Dev may void your warranty.

Yes, the tool supports S Off with tacoroot + revolutionary.
Also, after S Off, install 4ext recovery & then firmware using the tool. But ROM must be installed on your own, because the tool cannot work unless you can boot normally to android.

can you also specify like in my case im already S-Off in ICS do i Root first then Custom Recovery or viceversa? can you also describe which Su are you using? (Superuser or SuperSU)?
thanks cause you also posted in my question and im looking foward to this so i can finally have Custom Recovery, Root, and everything else back in my phones as when i was in GB2.3.4

Recovery included is 4ext touch. SuperSU + BusyBox included. If you are S Off and already running 3.32 base firmware, install recovery & root. Since there are multiple rooting methods supported, it doesn't matter which one you do first. Also, all this info was included in OP, read the OP please.

Yes, S Off works. You can always find me at the IRC (link in signature) should anything go wrong. Also, you can find 3.32 base firmware here: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1459767
And no, if you follow the instructions there is almost no possibility of getting bricked aside from uncontrollable circumstances like loss of power to the PC & other such situations.

To do SOFF with KGS Utility at the question You need to download the appropriate controlbear from tinyurl.com/JBFile, i notice that if i get the controlbear from(http://unlimited.io/juopunutbear-public-beta-0-1/instructions/htc-sensation/) there will be not jb_boot.img inside the folder, but if i get it from [GUIDE] Juopunutbear S-OFF (HBOOT 1.27.0000 with 3.32 ICS Firmware) it has alredy jb_boot.img inside the folder, my question is do we need to unzip jb_boot.img inside the tool folder?

The tool takes care of everything mate.
No need to worry about anything. The jb_hboot.zip is only required if your phone says *locked* after S Off instead of *Juopunutbear* :)
And if that is the case, the tool prompts you later on.

sorry if i asking anything stupid. I am new to HTC phone. should i unlock the bootloader first through htc dev before using your tool? I am confused with S-off and bootloader unlocking. does the tool provides bootloader unlocking? Thanks in advance.

I recommend not unlocking the bootloader, since the tool supports locked bootloaders also for S Off. If you perform the S Off procedure, there is no need for an unlocked bootloader because you will have an engineering bootloader after S Off.
Also, I request you to wait because the tool is being modified slightly.

Well, firstly, I recommend you wait for the next update, because there are some changes included.
Also, the tool tells you everything, I don't see how you'd need a tutorial for this?!
It's like asking for directions while you're on a train! :p
You just need to do what the tool tells you to & that isn't really much.
Do me a favour, and come to the irc (link in my signature), we'll talk there. Click my nick and select query. Hurry though, I'm not on for long & I'm also a little busy.
