I also encountered same problem of mandatory update to 10. I'm thinking its because of google lock/you-set-pin/password. You might try removing it and trying again.. I haven't had the time to work on my phone cos its my major phone and data erasing issues

Hi, my bootloader is locked, the phone is boot looping and stacking on "androidone" screen.
Now how to unlock the bootloader? and flash stock ROM.

P.S.I can access "Download mode" and tested Nokia OST-LA to flash and had no luck.

same thing happened with me too. i followed each step and waited for 2 hrs, nothing happened , and now i am left with a brick and fastboot. what to do?

Q4. Can we use this tool on any Android version?

A. Yes works On Oreo , pie & Q but keep this point in your mind update your platform tools time to time due to For Q & Pie & Oreo all these 3 having different different platform tools so if you face any erros don't get scared just download latest adb platform tools

Press power+volup while phone is connected to pc and then be quick and hold power+voldown when the screen turns off. sometimes the bootloader bugs out and the usb stops working on this phone (it has happened to me many times before)

see if the phone appears in device manager now. If it doesn`t I will try to help you further

Unfortunately, no luck. Still displays white screen "android one" even after I manually reboot.

Flash stock rom using Cracked OST LA instead of this tool. I also had pretty bad luck with this tool with it freezing on flashing big partitions for like 30-40 minutes before it shows the not responding message.
