I wanted to try the software, but Fsecure detected the file as a virus. Maybe some potential dangerous libraries used in the package?

It's the antivirus's job to protect its user. But sometimes they can be too paranoid. No dangerous libraries here - I only used my own code in ADB AppControl. But the adb.exe binary file is included with the program may be a sufficient reason for alarm. Just so you understand, version 1.7.1 has been downloaded by thousands of users and is completely safe. Rest assured, my reputation is important to me

I will try the zipped source too, and otherwise run it from a sandbox.

I'm not sure that it will work from sandbox. The program wait for a usb connection event to connect to device.

I use VMware as a sandbox, I can connect usb devices from the host. It will work, did this many times before. But in this case it seems false alarm (I edited my post) because virustotal was totally fine with the file Thanx!

Maybe a false report? This software is safe. If you think otherwise, dont use it.

App works great for me, both free and paid versions. Use at your own risk however as always.

strange, even on 1.7.1 it will not uninstall or disable com.huawei.parentcontrol on my Huawei... would be great if this could be rectified, thanks

Requires Android 7 or above. I am working on Android 6 compatibility.

Quick start: Launch program, enable usb debugging on the your device and connect it by usb cable to PC. Click the Enable Network Debuging button (upper right corner) to connect to the device over the network.

Important:

On PCs with Windows 7, if your device can not connect via usb, you need to install adb driver (I recomended to use my brand new Driver Installer)

Support device with android version below 7 may be limited.

To connect to the device by IP, first connect it via usb to the program and click the Enable Network Debugging button.

When you connect the device for the first time, the program will prompt you to install the ACBridge application.
This is my service application for android to provide data exchange between the device and ADB AppControl on a PC. It must be installed in order to be able to display application icons and their names, instead of their packages names like com.android.app. You can also use the program without ACBridge, but you will lose some of the cool features (no icons and no application names). Now ACBridge comes with the main program, but in the future I plan to add it to the Play Market.

Some permissions are failing to be set.. do I need to be root to set them?
For instance, Android Setup let me disable "ACCESS_COARSE_LOCATION" but not "ACCESS_NETWORK_STATE". The ones that work will turn off but the ones that fail will pop up in an error message.

Hey, some permissions are set in the app manifest by developer and you cannot change them. But you can manage dangerous runtime permissions, like a storage or contacts access, through ADB AppControl. You can't to revoke the ACCESS_NETWORK_STATE permission, use a firewall app instead.

Hi,
I've wanted to unistall Chrome od my Realme GT 5G because of battery draining and it looks like I did it (the app and the google bar dispappeared) but in my battery status there is still a com.android.chrome app with battery usage around 41%.
What am I doing wrong?

I want to downgrade the app to an earlier version but the earliest version that I could uninstall through Play Store is 2.56. I want to uninstall the app and sideload from an old apk.

Hi, in Android system you can't completely uninstall system app without root rights - its installation apk remains. Just uninstall your apps through ADB AppControl and they won't work and run. It's the good and safe way to uninstall apps, because you are always can restore them.

I'm trying to use your program on galaxy z fold3 which is running on android 11.
Do you have plans to have your program work on android 11?
I keep getting the following pop-up when I try to run your program.
devices connected: 3
this program is not intended to work with more than one device
I only have 1 phone connected to my pc.
Any advice would be great.
