This tool is great. I was so sick of doing things manually. Was able to find more bloat on my Tab S7+ I missed.

Having a problem with my S22 Ultra though (edit: doing the same thing with the S7+ now too). The program says the model of the phone in the upper left corner, but it just stays on Loading forever. The 55 second warnings eventually pop up. I've tried uninstalling and reinstalling the program, the apk, and clearing adb devices in dev options. Could this be driver related on my PC? Maybe try a universal one? Thanks!

No problems with driver you have. Be sure the ACBridge application is installed, enabled and has storage access permission on your phone. Also try to connect your device via usb cable with enabled (unlocked) screen.

I'm not sure what's going on with it on my desktop, things just hang on "Loading". Decided to give it a try on my laptop and things work fine. I tried uninstalling on my desktop and then reinstalling, but settings and everything were preserved so I guess it doesn't fully uninstall. At least I got it working on one of my computers.

🚀 Update 1.7.7
Autopemissions that were broken in 1.7.6 fixed. Of the new features - the program now remembers the last arguments of scrcpy.

🚀 Update 1.7.6
Added checking for scrcpy (screen mirroring app) updates that many have asked for, as well as a scrcpy delete button. Now it's very simple - if you want to install another version of scrcpy - uninstall the old one and install the new one. Also a few serious bugs were found and fixed (special thanks to those who helped finding them).

Changelog:

1.7.7
  • Broken autopermissions fixed
  • Last scrcpy arguments are now remembered
  • Other minor fixes
1.7.6
  • Adb and Fastboot updated to 33.0.2 version
  • Added buttons to check for updates and remove Scrcpy
  • Fixed apks files saving
  • Fixed an error when device connected
  • Network optimization
  • Other minor fixes
I made some changes to the network part of the program, and fix some connection problems. If you have an Extended version, the activation can reset after the update. In this case, just activate the program again with your key.

⬇️ DOWNLOAD

Thank you for using ADB AppControl!
Respectfully,
Cyber.Cat

Try updating the Samsung USB device driver on your desktop. I was having weird issues with Docs To Go and my Samsung S22+. Went to Samsung's website, looked up my model number and a new USB device driver was available for it. Installed the new driver and my problems went away. I installed Cyber.Cat's software after that and have not had any issues.

Good luck,

DC

Thanks for the tip, but no luck still. Something just must be screwy on my desktop. Been awhile since I wiped it and reinstalled stuff, might just be time for that. Have a hard drive dying anyways, so good time to upgrade the thing.

I'm showing some user apps as disabled (on the desktop client),even though they're not. (on the phone).
Not a biggie, but, just thought I'd put it out there.

Check that they aren't set to deep sleeping under background usage limits. I discovered these apps were shown as disabled in settings a while ago, and this app shows it that way too.

I spot-checked five apps for the battery setting.

They all indeed were set for restricted use (S22 Ultra on Android 13 One UI 5 Beta).

The apps aren't disabled, the desktop client is just indicating as such.

At @Cyber.Cat my adb control app on pc says new update availble, do you want to updat?? Answer Yes. Download succesfull, error updating to 1.7.7.1 What is going wrong. Thanks in advantage and have a nice weekend
Unfortunately, updating from 1.7.7 to 1.7.7.1 has been broken. So download and install 1.7.7.1 manually.
It looks like system apps that are uninstalled, even using the delete cache/settings toggle, preserve the apk updates, which is not what I want.
I have to test this. If it possible I will add an update removing option.

    Important:

On PCs with Windows 7/8, if your device can not connect via usb, you need to install the adb driver. You can learn more in documentation.

Support device with android version below 7 may be limited.

To connect to the device by IP
, first connect it via usb to the program and click the Enable Network Debugging button.

When you connect the device for the first time, the program will prompt you to install the ACBridge application.
This is my service application for android to provide data exchange between the device and ADB AppControl on a PC. It must be installed in order to be able to display application icons and their names, instead of their packages names like com.android.app. You can also use the program without ACBridge, but you will lose some of the cool features (no icons and no application names). Now ACBridge comes with the main program, but in the future I plan to add it to the Play Market.

The program has an Extended version with interesting features.
It was created especially for those users who like the program and want more features.

    Hi, everyone!
I continue to work on update 1.6.3 and has already made some important fixes.
A new option will also be added - Accurate application sizes. Now ADB AppControl gets applications using adb shell dumpsys diskstats command. It does not always provide actual app sizes and may not work on some devices. Now it will be possible to get current sizes directly via acbridge.

    Dear friends!
🌎 Today, the 1st year anniversary as ADB AppControl released on XDA.
For me it became an important day, because it was August 15, 2020 an international release of ADB AppControl occurred, and I remember how excited I was that day. Development began in May 2020 and it was a small project for me and my friends from 4pda forum. But users really liked my program and I must had to share it with the whole world. I want to express gratitude to those who are all this time supported me - with your support we have this powerful and useful tool now.

Also, thanks to the great XDA forum - you are awesome, guys!

If you are interested, then under the spoiler you can look at the first versions of ADB AppControl.
Sorry, that is not English, then I have not yet knew that thousands of people around the world will be used by my program.

This is the 1.0 version. It doesn't look good, but it really works!

In the 1.2 I improved the design and fixed some bugs (and added new)

You are lucky, here on the XDA you immediately saw version 1.4 with icons and app names :)

Now we have the modern looking 1.6.5 version with useful Debloat Wizard and many other great features.

However, I don't plan on stopping. I will go further and make this tool even better. I have gained a lot of invaluable experience during this year and now I can do much more!

I also made a Special Edition of ADB AppControl especially to the anniversary.
This is the common 1.6.5 with a modified "retro" design. Just download the file, unzip and place .exe file in the folder with ADB AppControl 1.6.5. Run it and enjoy!
