Hi having an annoying problem hopefully can get out of. I dropped my phone for the upteenth time and it got it just right this time because the screen cracked and turned black and a bunch of weird colors. Cant use the screen to navigate anywhere one the phone which is a Motorola G7 Power 1955-5 . Been reading up in this thread and others but cant find anywhere that gives a solution to not being able to shut of the phone to get into recovery mode. I have tried all button configs different times of pushing vol- and power putting it on the charger and no luck. I am trying to get into recovery so i can get debugging turned on to mirror the screen because the entire screen has no response. I have no custom recovery and is not rooted as well. So does anyone have any idea what a solution is for me. Thanks very much for your time.

I need to get the phone turned off so i can boot into recovery the screen is so damaged that i cant push on the screen to shut it down . How can I fix this issue? I have to have the phone off completely to boot to recovery to get into recovery and from there to adb to turn on debugging. See what Im saying now?

Hello boss, if I download this tool, it can fix to my phone? My problem is that when I flash the recovery from magisk where I pull the patch boot.img, now it's always open in download mode & when I try to flash the original stock rom, error comes out "samsung is not running the official software" and also this "avb fail recovery: error verifying vbimage". I hope it can help this one tool. Thanks

with this tool you can unlock the bootloader even if previously it has not been flagged in the menu and the ADB drivers have not been activated previously .... and the device is locked in FRP?

Sorry for that, I will try to resolve the bootloader unlock in this days! However not all devices support directly bootloader unlock.

SwayWasTaken - I have the same issue on my Alcatel phone. Here's one of my support request posts - https://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?p=81966035#post81966035. I got a response from @Duhjoker here - https://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?p=81971383#post81971383 - and have started looking into it. Just wondering if you have any tips here, or if maybe your tool could do something...
    Thanks

If you want to boot into fastboot mode you can try the option in ATA (Is it the problem?)

Well I see in ata.sh that all that does is add reboot-bootloader, which I already know about and have tried. The issue is that, like mentioned in the post I linked, some phones don't allow user access to fastboot, but we know fastboot is there still, it's just hidden. So I, and others, wonder about how to find it..

does ATA found your phone? if no it's a driver issue or check this link https://github.com/Genymobile/scrcpy/issues/70 . Let me know

Sorry if I was a bit - well - a bit too me. I have just stumbled into these batexes maybe too many times. All sort of "kitchens" (what the heck, isn't there still a better word, really) use them, ASSAYYED, TOAD (open source? okay, maybe so***), Uppercut (several batexes inside each other, just plain weird..).
Maybe they have their use but I haven't figured it out yet really.

Great, now it's much smaller too... :good:

      ;)

(*** the bat files can usually found from the temp folder when one runs these exes)

      Thanks for your reply,
Although, i did place the recovery in the script folder, my device issue isnt related to your tool.
My fastboot dosent work. No commands work (except fastboot devices), mi flash dosent work, the only way to flash rom/ recovery is via edl.
Do you have knowledge about this problem?
      Thanks again!

      no sorry
