    Howdy,

Using this tool, can I move my Samsung galaxy tab s2 running latest stock Nougat and load TWRP, flash TWRP twice to the device, (with set no auto reboot), then format data, wipe 2 caches data and system, then flash Lineage os (10), then Arm gapps, then no DFE, then normal magisk, (all files from external SD) then first boot and wait.

How does it sound, did I miss anything? I heard that root is not needed before, but can be done after with magisk)

    Thanks 👍

    I try again,

could this ATA work for Ulefone armor X8? I am planning to unlock bootloader, load TWRP and then root, as part of a tutorial I was following here https://www.androidweblog.com/ulefone-armor-x8-root-twrp-recovery/

In the end, I need only to root it, but it seems that the other 2 steps are kind of tied into it... I tried to install Magisk Manager and try from that, but it does not have the direct download option and asks for a *.tar file which I do not have

      Always these lame bat2exe converters.

Why not people just distribute these as plain batch files I wonder...

Sorry if I was a bit - well - a bit too me. I have just stumbled into these batexes maybe too many times. All sort of "kitchens" (what the heck, isn't there still a better word, really) use them, ASSAYYED, TOAD (open source? okay, maybe so***), Uppercut (several batexes inside each other, just plain weird..).
Maybe they have their use but I haven't figured it out yet really.

Great, now it's much smaller too... :good:

      ;)

(*** the bat files can usually found from the temp folder when one runs these exes)

      Thanks for your reply,
Although, i did place the recovery in the script folder, my device issue isnt related to your tool.
My fastboot dosent work. No commands work (except fastboot devices), mi flash dosent work, the only way to flash rom/ recovery is via edl.
Do you have knowledge about this problem?
      Thanks again!

      no sorry
