Hi all,
I've had some experience with flashing ROMs/Rooting/Changing various aspects of the Status bar etc to my Note 1.... however, this all seems a bit daunting.
I have recently bought my Note 2 (via Korea) SHV-E250K (N7105) and very gingerly Rooted, Pushed CWM (via Odin) Backed up Via CMW and Titanium.
I still have all functions Messages/ phone calls and data including LTE (in Australia)
I just tried this and it seemed to work well. I have read many times on XDA about people bricking the phone because the used the wrong ROM/Program to restore.
As this seemed to work well the first time was wondering if it is safe to restore this (efs.img) to my particular model or is it only tested on the N71000 models?

Hi
Is it necessary to go back to a stock rom before saving the EFS?
Atm I'm using the Omega 4.1.

Thanks a lot!

my IMEI became null/null after flashing a rom

i had a backup of my efs.img on my pc
when restoring my EFS backup, it says "/dev/block/mmcblk0p3: write error: No space left on device"

what should i do?

i'm stuck at samsung boot logo, i can't run on USB Debugging.
I however can boot into CWM, flash roms via CWM or Odin
but it never got pass the samsung boot logo...

is my EFS partition fried??

After flashing OMEGA ROM, my IMEI changed and I could not any more connect to any network.
I tried to edit the files in efs folder to revert the IMEI to the original.
That made things worse, as now the phone is in factory mode.
What are my options? (I do not have a backup of efs folder)
