Just finished flash RR 5.8.3 with ur freezes patch...
I faced the "ASUS incredibly bla bla.." boot problem too
But,after reflash the ROM and restart PC exactly before applying the fix... its finally booted into home screen
Anyway.. I don't see the panic value change into -1 (already enable init.d)

Hope this patch will fully cure our phone from the curse :fingers-crossed:

- cmdline file is fine
- if panic value is not "-1" use Kernel Auditor to execute "00fix_bootloader" in /system/etc/init.d then check again
- Anyway, freezed issue supposed to be fixed just by cmdline, init.d file does not effect much now.

Yes... Already did that,but the panic value still show "3"

Just test if it's freezed or not since cmdline has been applied already.

No but opposite, recommend using lspeed since this tweaks is gonna drain a bit battery when idle.

Has used the tool "09072017Fix_Bootloader.rar" 4 hours on zenfone 5 T00j rom AICP on 03/05/2017, there is no screen freeze or restart.

- For anyone who used old 09/07 tool already, just delete 00fix_bootloader from init.d

ITS been 19 hrs and there is no single freeze yet on my friends device .so i think the freeze issue has gone .but there is a huge battery drain noticed maybe its due to first time installation of new rom ,and battery is not optimised yet . Will update if there is anything . thank you.

Edit : got word from my friend, the freeze issue is solved for him @nheolinkin

Use Lspeed tweaks + aggressive doze then you should be fine

Mine still freezes when battery reaches below 50%, but it doesn't freeze above 50%. I will send you the last_kmsg when it happens again, but what exactly is the last_kmsg? Is it the logcat? Or what?

- First, check if tweak is applied or not, see #2 post
- Second, when it's freezed, wait for it to reboot itself then take last_kmsg via Kernel Audior --> Setting.

The tweaks are applied though. Look at my cmdline code

And also there is no option in Kernel Adiutor to get last_kmsg, the only options is to get logcats and dmesg

In "max_cstate" the value is zero but in "disable_kernel_watchdog" the value is "Y". Weird
