After 4+ years with this ZenFone 5's stinkin' freezing issue, the sure fix has finally arrived. 1 day in with very heavy use and still no freezing.

* 2GB RAM

No freezes ... Ty developer... But I'm having proximity sensor issues how will I fix that now

Download the google phone app from play store and make it your default phone app.
Now go to settings - display, and turn off the "prevent accident wake up". After that go to setting - configuration - interface - ambient display, and turn on the " override defaults " and then turn on the "pickup sensor trigger"
I hope that this solve the proximity issue.
Flash the ROM again and also flash the su addon for root access (root access is important). Also, Reboot you PC before executing the tool.
After flashing the ROM and su addon, navigate to settings - developer option and enable the root access. Select "apps and adb option". Now enable the usb debugging. Connect your device to your pc. And then run the tool again. It will surely work. After that just reboot your device. It will surely boot up.
i've used your recovery. but is shuts down everytime i try to flash gapps. but to flash rom everything works fine. any idea why it happened?
my camera is working. What did I do wrong? All done according to the instructions several times, but the freeze still remaine

Make sure your device is not connected to any power source
will try. but i can flash rom and everything just fine. only happen with Gapps.
After flashing the rom, just press reboot to recovery (it will reboot the device to the recovery again)and then flash the gapps only. While flashing make sure that your drvucr is connected to charger or your device should have 75%+ charge in it. Also don't everything in one time ( which means first flash the ROM, then go back and select gapps and then flssh gapps and then other things) selecting everything in queue makes the twrp unable to work.
