im trying to recover from a softbrick . c6802,rooted,nuts recovery,unlocked BL,running scrubbers port 5.1.1.....I tried flashing zombie kernel through twrp and tried booting. bootloop on boot. tried booting back into twrp but it erased it. both recoveries gone. I can get into flashmode and fastboot. ive searched for ftf files but all links are broke. im running windows 7. I have flashtool installed and all is well with that. i even tried flashing a boot.img from scrubbers rom. flashtool will not let me put any file in the correct place. SOOOOOOOO,is there anybody that still uses this phone? is there anybody that still knows how to use flashtool and recover from a softbrick ...... ??????? i really need to know were theres a WORKABLE download link for a ftf file. AND HOW TO USE IT WITH FLASHTOOL......

to the op. none of the links work..the "how to recover from softbrick" instructions were never complete as the op stated in the "3rd" post. unless im not reading it correctly,in which case im sorry. please help me with this issue.

Sony Official Flash Tool - Recovering from soft brick

I have 6833 and have flashed custom rom and wanted to revert back to stock but the falsh tool and the FTFs provided in the below thread kept failing and was stuck in a boot loop mode. http://forum.xda-developers.com/xpe...tf-depository-sony-firmware-releases-t2829387

I kept googling and stumbled upon the below official Sony flashtool and to my surprise the tool worked amazingly smooth and restored the phone to factory settings. It gave an option of Kitkat or Lollipop update and I chose Kitkat just to make sure it is reset as it was. The download comes with instructions and is very simple. hope this helps. You don't need to put phone in download mode or anything, just connect the phone to your pc while it is turned off and the tool will automatically recognize the phone and will reset.

BTW: The flashtool in the above link is awesome as well it worked several times when I had to return to stock after flashing roms etc. It worked at least 20 times before failing to reset (tried several different FTFs) which resulted in searching for an alternative and ran into the sony tool otherwise the falshtool above is awesome as well.

Wow...thanks for this, so I have a rooted lollipop v270 and I was planning to restore back to original firmware and update to the latest build, hope this will help.

try these out...
1. try downloading another ftf file.
2. plug your phone to a charger and see if it charges.
3. download a newer flashtool.

which ftf can you recomend?
when i connect to charger i think he dont charges only heat. i dont see what he charging... he loop to turn on and show "the software failed make sure to connect the phone to pc and try agian..."
i try 0.9.18.3, 0.9.19.8, 0.9.19.10 errors
