v4.0 Released! 7-16-2013
- Updated File Hosters. I have 2 file hosting services so if one goes down, there will be another up!
- Updated TWRP to 2.6.0.0
- Updated 4EXT
- Updated SuperSU to v1.41
- Added S-Off commands (Must have S-Off already)
- Added popular links
- Removed HTC Drives and replaced it with a link. It will take you to the latest drivers that I upload! No need to keep updating my toolkit with drivers. Also, decreases the size by 14MB!
- Fixed some other bugs

Download is in Post 2.

I'm using v4.0

Recovery TWRP work but Recovery 4ext doesn't work for me!!

I 've done this :

I have the last touch recovery and rename "4EXT_Recovery_Touch_v1.0.0.5_RC9" to "4EXT" and replace it in this adress:

Sensation_All-In-One_Kit_v4.0\Sensation_All-In-One_Kit_v\Data\Recoveries

After that it worked properly

Whats the matter ?

Your 4EXT.img is the problem ?

(sorry for my language)

I assume your device is s-on. Install 4ext recovery, enable "smartflash" in settings, then you are good to go. For more info, look for asskicker's guide in general section. "flashing roms with s-on" good luck! ;)

Hi,

Look HERE
1.You need to install 4 EXT recovery.
2.Go into the recovery to wipe, and "format all partitions except sd card"
3.Use the "Smartflash" option just before flashing the ROM.

Read the thread.
It is all well explained in there.

:)

Hi Hansoon

My sensation is not rooted even though I have click the perm root button. What have I done before I click on the perm root are :-

1. I have succesfully Unlock Bootloader. Currently it shows :

****UNLOCKED*****
Pyramid PVT SHIP S-ON RL
HBoot-1.27.0000
eMMC-boot
Jan 13 2012, 17:33:34

2. I have flash recovery by using HTC Sensation ALL in One Tool Kit. I've used 4EXT and below are the result from command line:-

sending 'recovery' (6348 KB)...
OKAY [ 1.672s]
writing 'recovery'...
OKAY [ 10.828s]
finished. total time: 12.500s
which I beleived it's done.

But after the Item 1 and 2. When I tried to do the perm root , which is still under Fast Boot USB. It gaves error :-

error: device not found

Can you tell me what have I done wrong?

HI Maly

Thanks for the reply. Question, should I do this Option :-

3.remove the files adb.exe, AdbWinApi.dll , AdbWinUsbApi.dll
(if you dont have any adb/fastboot setup don't delete these and skip step 4 )

4.copy the rest of files to the your adb/fastboot folder
-> if you did SOFF using this guide then copy the reset of files to the temproot-sensation-windows folder which you
have downloaded during SOFF procedure

Or I can just run the root.bat file ?

Hi,

I would think that you should run the root.bat
But to be sure, you should ask in ganesh's thread.
