+ Android magic word not found in offset 0, it placed in offset 2048. So first 2048 byte is additional header
+ what i found is
- byte 128 to 255 is different among each image. 128 byte
- byte 517 is different too. 1 byte
- byte 536 to 555 is different too. 20 byte

Help with repack,

I only modified the file: vendor.img

And realize the repack tool and create the new file Update.app.

However, when I install it on the phone says fail and end up big with Fail and do not update.

What is the procedure to work correctly the repack?

I appreciate the guidance I can get.

In the mobile I get the following:

Update Package: / sdcard / dload / Update.app

pkg update sd checking ...

Huawei SD card update fail ......
cust copying files ...
cust copy files successed!

FAIL
=============================

And does not update.

There should be a log file somewhere on your sd with some more details ... Don't have a device to test :/

I don't have time to research the signing part the next comming weeks since i'm busy with my job (deadlines and stuff), probably we'll never fix it, since we need the private rsa key to sign the file.

Do you use multiple screens ? Otherwise delete als files/folders in C:\Users\<user>\AppData\Local\worstenbrood\

For some reason it seems to stretch the window further then your screen is. Try to delete those folders and change the Size parameter in the huaweiupdateextractor.exe.config. This should set the default size of the window.

Problem

I unpacked the Update.app to modify, once you compress it again, it fails when installing it, I really need since my usb port was broken, so I can not even rooting, or installing roms. So this program is my solution, please do not let it to update, I really need. Sorry for my bad English.
