Is it difficult to make a flashable zip of ones stock .kdz file for easy factory restore? That would be nice cause then you could just flash stock recovery with flashify or something afterwards and you would be all set right? :)

can you build [KDZ or TOT] [creation or edit] Programs?

*.BIN to KDZ
*.BIN to TOT

Can we convert kdz into tot?

theoretically it can, but since i do the ripping the content without knowing a whole structure of file and what method of splitting large partition into small parts,
that make it difficult to wrap it back

its not difficult, but i never try that, i think only some partition are safe to flash over flashify or any CWM

its can do extract any tot and kdz and dz contents and merge the parts of partition.
sofar i been have been tested it capable to extract the kdz file from LG G2 and TOT file from AT&T and Sprint.
so if anyone who have success extract from any other TOT or Kdz file from any other phone or series pls inform it here ,so i will update the tested list .

It cant extract F320S11K_00.kdz, detect negative number file size. Although I could use the python to extract it fine. Strange that your tool works well with F320K11_00.kdz, maybe there's error with file size detection.

You can have the kdz here: http://lg-phone-firmware.com/index.php?id_mod=36
(the last one of Korean variant - SKT/SK). Or simplicity this link: http://lg-phone-firmware.com/tool.php?idclick=8776

Hi Epson, thank you , i have release the update for fix wrong size detection.

Hi CQNSTANT!NE, i have release new version, now its support G Pro tot file, hope it work for you.

can you please add G Pro KDZ support? or is there a link that can convert G Pro KDZ to TOT?
when using modified thecubed's python script i can only extract a DZ file from its KDZ. the extracted DZ cannot be recognized by this tool.

A bit out off topic..
Can you please take a look at LG Backup .lbf files..
Any chance for an extractor and/or compressor?
Thanks

hi juniecho, yes each partition on DZ file is not zlib compressed, im not sure what kind of compression they use,
here i have extracted the compressed primaryGPT.bin file

PrimaryGPT_unknow-compression.bin

the lbf file is using double compressing with custom data on it you can extract it using winrar, you will lose some of important lbf information if you just extract the data

oh then this is not a good news. i heard in a korean forum that previous version of dz format is based on gzip, with header removed. maybe this too?
