I had problem with your multi tool, even I already installed successfully my phone drivers, your multi tool wont detect my phone and when I click refresh button but still nothing happens.
Please help me sir...
I used your windows 32 bit (1.32) version.

You need the Google drivers installed, for adb you also need USB debugging on from Developer settings. Other than that it should work fine.

I guess you can try unlocking the bootloader, you can also try a factory reset (aka hard reset) from stock recovery, there are guides on Google about this.

The problem I can't unlock bootloader cause can't start OS so I can't enable usb deb,nor oem unlock
And for factory reset done but doesn't help still same .
The unsecure kernel is not needed anymore as you can root via Chainfire's Systemless .zip package.
If you flash any custom ROM, again, you need not worry about the kernel, everything should already be packaged (except vendor on some ROMs).
The unsecure kernel was useful if you wanted to Root your stock ROM before systemless root was available.

Maybe I am going full retard, but with 6p plugged into my Mac and hitting refresh the app still has all the buttons greyed out. USB debugging is enabled and have also booted into Fast Boot and no changes. Anyone have tips?
Unfortunately, the problem doesn't seem to be tool related but rather Mac related.
You can try a couple of things from this link and please let me know if something worked.
If I flashed a stock image, just to upgrade, would it end up wiping my phone? I have an unlocked bootloader already, and running stock rooted...
Since a new official release is on the block 6.0.1 (MMB29P), here is a small tutorial how to update to the latest version using the tool without the need to reset all the stuff (as return to stock does).
In order to do this, you need to download the factory image, extract all the zips, even the image-angler-mmb29p.zip, after that, copy all the images except - userdata.img in the tool folder Data/Flashable.
You need to put your device in Fastboot and to enter the Flashing menu of the tool.
Remember to flash first:
1. Bootloader
2. Radio
For the rest of the images there is no order that needs to be kept.
If you want to keep custom recovery, don't flash the recovery
P.S. Be patient with the system partition flashing, it will take some time to flash and the first boot will take a while
Just look at my instructions from the above quote, it should help you with the upgrade of the software without wiping.
Please note that if you proceed with stock image flashing, you will enjoy a full wipe
I need some help guys. I have never had an issue and now with two toolkits I can't unlock my device.... is there something I am missing. Usually it is just setup the drivers and have have it unlock the device in the bootloader... Nothing works.
EDIT: Didn't realize I had to click OEM unlock in developer options which the skipsoft tool was kind enough to inform me of.

Yes, you can! You just need to download the latest Google release, extract all archives into the Flashable folder and then just flash the bootloader and then the radio from the Flashing section.

Because there is another tool for Android called Android Multi Tools, I renamed this one to Lx Multi Tool, future releases will go under this name.

Known bugs/limitations:
- For partition Flashing, it is recommended(mandatory?) to do a reboot-bootloader if you want to flash multiple partitions one after the other. (according to the Google flashing scripts) (Implemented in 1.2.1)- For the return to stock, the tool will be stuck after your phone successfully boots, you need to reboot to fastboot again in order to flash the Radio and finish the full return to stock. (Fixed in 1.2.0)

Right now you cannot flash partitions on their own, this feature will be added in the next release.
If you have the knowledge you can modify a stock package so you flash only what you need, will look into that when I will reach home, basically there is an image_something.zip where you have different stuff.
I will come back at this post after I investigate if this can be done easily and maybe I will change the stock image to flash it without the Data partition. (Note that the System and Boot partitions still need to be flashed for a successfull update).
P.S. I have my Nexus since yesterday evening, development stuff can be done easier now.3Okay, sorry for the long wait, as expected qwindows.dll was missing, tested on my girlfriend's laptop, it had the same problem and the .dll fixed it.
The .zip file with the newly include .dll has been put instead of the old one in the main thread.
I'm truly sorry for this issue and I really hope that it's fixed now, need to sleep in peace (4 AM here).3
I guess you haven't extracted the .tar and .tgz archives of the factory image, the flashall.bat is in the archive and in the last folder in the archive, that's what you need and there is where you need to put the fastboot.exe.
If you don't know how to open or extract the archives, you can try by installing 7-zip.3@Lexmazter Just a heads up, you need to update the unlock command to "fastboot flashing unlock" as this is the new command for the M devices - oem unlock no longer works.
