Just downloaded the file using that tool and I got a really strange file name, but no .zip? Is something wrong??

No it's OK just rename it to ".zip"

Not sure where to get this "tool" - I get the message - "connection refused", when I try to click on the link in the OP.

It's a website to get official url to download ota packages, but as you see, it a site on Iran, so it may be blocked by your ISP lately.

i used root explorer, my model is XT1635-02 , carrier=unknown (software channel is retgb (amazon UK SIM-free)) but build.version.full not appears, ony ro.build.version.qcom=LA.um.5.3 , ro.build.id?MPNS24.104-44-16 , I do not see anything like blur.version...

I had the same problem, use this code with fastboot:

fastboot getvar all

It doesn't matter, fastboot commands works with non rooted devices as well.

The thing is there is newer version available and retbr got updated to it. But I can't find it.
