Just one small thing, I noticed in my screenshots of security that ny "args" number are diffrent from the original on, the original ones were 0 all the way, the new ones are not. should I be worried? Have I done misstakes?
Sorry not understand what you mean

Xperia Command Line Flasher has stopped
work
One problem caused the program to stop working properly.
The program stings and you will be notified
there is some solution to the problem.
Its known bug in trim area dumper, reported here, cause segmentation fault so do not use! I need to fix it but now I don't have xperia for test so I can't promise when it will be done

Hey,
I've been trying to get my phone detected, I get an error: "'No usb device with vid:0x0fce pid:0xb00b!'
I do have drivers from flashtool installed, both Flashmode and Fastboot and my own device's driver.
I couldn't install the gordon gate drivers straight up, windows didn't recognize them for some reason, but I understood the flashtool drivers are enough.
My Xperia XZ1C shows up as a Sony ADB Interface in device manager while it is connected in fastboot mode to my windows PC.
Any ideas would be really appreciated.
Thanks!

STEP 1:
- Download right firmware for your device using XperiFirm tool, put newflasher.exe into firmware dir created by XperiFirm tool. Before you double click newflasher.exe do in mind something, newflasher tool is programed to flash everything found in the same dir!!! So tool flash all .ta files, all .sin files, boot delivery (whole boot folder), partition.zip, in short all files found in dir! If you no want to flash something just move file which you no want to flash OUT OF FOLDER! Partition.zip .sin files can be flashed only if you extract partition.zip into newly created folder called partition!
Hello, it is a long time since I have flashed a phone.

Can someone remind me please as I cannot make it out from the OP

The partition.zip gets extracted to a folder named partition
Does the boot.zip also get extracted to folder named boot?

Thanks in advance

Im having trouble while trying to install your drivers. I really need newflasher to work, as i want to downgrade my device to backup drm. when i try to install by adding legacy software driver, it says that the driver is not compatible with my device and to check if this is for x64 computers. I managed to install the stock drivers for my device(XZ1) but then I can type fastboot commands but not use your tool (No usb device with vid:0x0fce pid:0xb00b) . Almost clean win10 install, i only flashed my redmi 4x before. What do I need to do? Any help? It is indeed a driver problem but i have no idea how to fix that . (Of course, flashtool and Emma dont work either) I also tried an older version, newflasherv_13 but that did not work either
-----------------------
EDIT: okay found out im a noob and i was entering fastboot mode by pressing vol+ instead of entering flash mode by pressing vol-. wrote that as it may help some users here(?)

Hi, I think I'm having a driver issue but I'm not certain. I used newflasher to upgrade my device (XZ2 Compact) to PIE last August, and to apply the September security update. I decided I wanted to apply the latest firmware while I'm on winter holiday, but now my computer and adb recognizes my device, but if I issue "adb reboot fastboot" I get a green LED for a moment then it automatically reboots to system. If I power off the phone and vol-dn and plug in USB, I get a solid green LED, but fastboot devices reports no device. I attempt newflasher just in case, and I get the no device 0xb00b error. While watching my device manager, windows does nothing when I plug in or when I unplug the device.

tl;dr: ADB works fine, fastboot doesn't detect my device. Same computer and phone that worked previously for Aug and Sept updates.

In case you didn´t solve it yet, I had the same problem too, then I tried this https://forum.xda-developers.com/showpost.php?p=38895138&postcount=143 but still didn´t solve it and uninstalled all the Sony drivers and all the Sony related programs from pc and reinstall them again doing it with the drivers signature disabled as it is in the guide. I hope it helps.
