i pulled the partitions images & added to new VM in VMware.

First thank you for your hard work in the past.

I tried several ways to get Genymotion running on VMWare but nothing worked.

I would be happy if you could remember how you succeeded

BS Easy, really!? Yea! That program and irresponsible dev like him is one of the reason why you don't have BSMT for BS v0.9.x! beside the free'mium' issue.
I used to respect the developer of BS Easy a lot, until he grabbed part of my codes and used it in his program, in case you are wondering,
it's 'Alternative Rooting Method', ofcause, he did made some innovative improvements, but that doesn't change the fact that he stole my codes!

Infact, the Xposed installation guide you posted was written by the same dev, and it looks almost identical with the technique i used in BSMT,
only that i have the job done automatically with BSMT, while he is using the manual approach to have the files installed.
If i got this wrong and he learned this by himself without sniffing BSMT, then i am sorry, well, only he & The God knows the truth.

I just feel sick and tired of wasting my time for research to make a FREE program for others to make money from it, well, BSEasy is not the only one that did this to me.
Everytime i see these program names they remind me how stupid i was, enough to caused me lost interest to this project.

Like you said, they are much more active and 'knowledgeable', he probably can do more innovative stuffs for BS, so i will leave the mission for him.

I meant that out of the two facebook groups that one seemed better, not that BS Easy is better than BSMT (ie. BlueStacks ID vs. freestacks group)

I STILL use an older version of BlueStacks because should BlueStacks **** up (and it does) i know i can reliably re-root it with a tool that works all the time, instead of well... BS Easy that works only most of the time.

problems running BlueStacks simultaneously with AutoHotkey

Hello,
I ran into some problems running BlueStacks and AutoHotkey simultaneously on WIndows 7 Ultimate.
The executable file for BlueStacks would disappear and a xml file of the same name would appear.
The control key would also get stuck in a down state and cause havoc when trying to type text or select items from a drop down menu. No solution other than uninstall/reinstall bluestacks until the behavior starts again. Not sure what other factors are causing this behavior. It is very annoying. Is anyone else experiencing this and how can it be resolved. Thank you in advance for your help.

hi, no matter what version i install on my thinkpad8 hd resolution: the rotation is wrong, windows in portrait mode=bluestacks in landscape mode, and the other way around. rotation app, no help. icon in windows taskbar and different rotation modes, no luck. what can i do?

i want to report that some (broken) link provided in bluestack app player

are directly link to official bluestack website that offer to download bluestack thin installer which give you latest version 9.17
i have been struggling why this didn't work for hours, because i just try to install the latest 8.11. but suddenly solve this. i don't know if this happen only me or other people too since no one seems to have this problem.

Mirrors for BlueStacks v0.8.11

BSMultiTool is now deprecated (outdated) and should not be used with newer version of BlueStacks.

To mod your Bluestacks 0.9.x, i would recommend you guys to visit/join the following facebook fans group: #FreeStacks, #BluestacksID
They have more updated tweaking & rooting tools to work with latest version of BlueStacks, they will be able to assist you there.

Since older versions of BlueStacks are not longer available for download on official site, those who still interested with 0.8.x may use the following mirrors:
BlueStacks 0.8.11.3116 (141.05 MB), download mirrors: usersfiles, or d-h.st (This is BSMultiTool last supported BS version)
* NOTE: Make sure you click the correct 'download' button on mirror sites, check the downloaded file size before you run the program.

Those having problem installing older version, you must completely remove your existing BS version first, you can do that by running the BS built-in uninstaller,
once the uninstallation completed, reboot your pc and run BSMT Dirty Uninstaller, do another reboot, then only proceed with the installation of BS 0.8.11.
Run BSMT as Administrator if necessary.

Sorry if it didn't work for you, did you check that time if the file you downloaded was the correct one with 141.05 MB?
So how's the 9.X 'crap' going? I heard 9.x is no longer a crap and it works much better compared to earlier 9.x version.

Yea, i am afraid it's gone now, not sure why.
But don't worry, afaik the new rooting tool called "BlueStacks Easy" by @XtraartX is mostly shared on #BluestacksID

I'm unable to reinstall bluestacks after an installation. I have removed all files and registry as well. Any tips? The error is it says it can't remove the old version but it's been uninstalled..
