So this really includes custom recovery, or is that a feature to come when custom recovery is available?

Edit, nevermind. I overlooked it in the op, but it's as I thought. No custom recovery yet. :(
No not yet, still waiting for a custom recovery.

This will be added in an updated version ?

Just found out about twrp being released but its 1:30am here now and I need some sleep so I will add recovery support in the morning. Also adding option to flash latest supersu beta if desired as I know a lot of people want to test the betas from chainfire and I might as well make it easy :)

As soon as I have a test version (hopefully before 12pm as I have to go out for the afternoon) I will post a message for available testers.

Ok the module is finally complete. Sorry for the extra delay I added TWRP Recovery and a few different root methods that can be enabled if needed. Also fine tuned the firmware flashing routine and added a few other things. SuperSU stable AND BETA can also be used now (beta will automatically be selected until SuperSU stable is updated) and all root zips will auto update at startup if new versions are available.

Im now going to bed (3:03am here) so I will post the installer in this post for testing but PLEASE only select the Nexus 9 from the device list in this test version as all other devices are not enabled yet. If you select a different device then the toolkit will try to download a module file that isn't there (and will return to the device selection screen). Anyone who can test please test asap and post back or email me at [email protected] and if everything is ok then I will add the other devices back (this public version will have 5.0 support for all nexus devices added) and release it.

Download link to test version (select Nexus9, option 08 at startup): http://skipsoft.net/tempuploads/Unified_Android_Toolkit_v1.3.3.exe

This is probably the biggest update I have ever done as I had to update every supported device (19 and counting now) for the new Toolkit base.

Nexus 6 and Nexus 9 devices have been added to the UAT family and ALL devices have been updated to support the latest available builds and there is a new option for Pro users to root ANY build.

Loads of things have been tweaked, fine tuned or re-written to make them work better, I couldn’t possibly list everything that has been done on this version but I have been working til about 4am every night for the last week to get it finished as soon as possible.

A large amount of the procedures rely on TWRP openrecoveryscript to automatically flash zip files and I have decided (for now) to stick with TWRP 2.7 as there seem to be problems with adb on 2.8. When I know this is fully fixed I will start updating all devices to the latest TWRP versions.

As usual EVERYTHING has detailed instructions included so if you aren’t sure what an option does then just select it and read. New options in the Backups section and Rooting section, and more options added to the rooting procedure including using SuperSU Beta if desired.

It would take me 2 months to check absolutely everything (build options, model file downloads, recovery download) so if anyone spots ANYTHING please let me know as soon as possible so it can be fixed.

I would advise Pro users to download the full version from the link below as it will take me a few days to create the AutoUpdate files for every device. Existing codes will of course still work and if you install to the same folder as it was in before then pro features should automatically be activated at startup.

Now this is out I will start working on adding the Galaxy Note4, Galaxy Tab S (both sizes) and Galaxy Note 10.1 2014 edition. These should be done and added within a week hopefully as im busy with family commitments over christmas so will only be able to work nights for a few weeks.

Enjoy.

Did you go through all the help steps to make sure your drivers are installed properly? You would have been given an option to read the help file when the device was not detected. If not then read this http://www.skipsoft.net/?page_id=1302

Yes all drivers are installed. It detects and reboots my device into Fastboot, but once the tablet loads into TWRP I get the message saying it can't detect

Once it boots into fastboot then into TWRP, I get this msg...
