Can someone with un unlocked bootloader and a OnePlus 3 go on hangouts with me to go through the steps of flashing twrp and rebooting the device manually. I need to know why the connection is lost between flashing the image and rebooting the device. May just be drivers but it needs sorting out. We could also look at adb recovery drivers.

Get back to me as soon as possible if you can do this.

Maybe tonight then if no one gets back to me before then.

EDIT: Ok problem solved with device not being found after flashing recovery image. I pasted in an adb command instead of the fastboot reboot command. I think I did that at 4am the other night so probably just had a brain fart..

I think its just the adb recovery drivers need fixing now.

Updated OnePlus 3 Device Modules for Public (free) and Pro Users to v1.0.2

Changelog:
+Fixed All OnePlus devices loading OnePlusOne module after AutoUpdate
+Added flash Stock Recovery when ReLocking bootloader to avoid future errors
+Added flash custom recovery image before booting to it
+Fixed device not rebooting after flashing custom recovery image
+Changed USB drivers to official OnePlus driver pack
+Other minor fixes

Pro users can get the latest version by just selecting their device at startup and accepting the update.

Pro Users – After updating files to the latest version the Toolkit will restart in the OnePlusOne module. Go back to the device selection screen and select your device so it restarts the correct device module and the problem won't come back again.

Non Pro users have a few more steps.
1. Exit the Toolkit if it is open.
2. Run ToolkitClean.exe from the installation folder (or the Start Menu)
3. Select your device (OnePlus 1, 2, 3 or X) from the list
4. Type ‘y’ or ‘yes’ (without the quotes) to delete the existing module files and settings for the device
5. If you have not updated to v1.5.0 you must ALSO select option 62 to update the Toolkit.exe file
6. Restart the Toolkit, select the device and new module files will be downloaded/installed

If you want to donate to a device project please do it through the Toolkit (after selecting the device at startup) or from the link at http://www.skipsoft.net/?page_id=703 so you get the right code fast.

Enjoy, Mark.

Option 6-3 is to purely flash custom recovery to your device and is not supposed to boot to it after. I guess I could add an option to boot to recovery after flashing it. I just didn't think it was needed as there are options to boot to recovery after the device reboots.

Can you try options 4-2-1-1 to push the root zip file to the device, then boot to custom recovery to flash it. Until the driver issues have been sorted no procedure that requires an adb command to be sent whilst in recovery will work.

This driver issue in recovery is really starting to bug me lol.

i've tried 4-2-1-1 option and it does push zip file into device. after that we can install it and it's working properly.

I understand perfectly the option not to boot directly on recovery I just thought that we might do it ;)

I will add the option to boot to recovery after the image is flashed it will only take a few minutes. Probably could have added it in the time its taken to write this post :)

Unfortunately doesn't work :crying::crying: but like i said, no problem for me ;)
Other mention options, obviously, disabled.

Note:
i have a complete rom 3.1.2 used by OnePlus support if you want for some reason here it is:
Oxygen - https://s3.amazonaws.com/oneplussupport/Op3/OnePlus3_16_A.07_160606.rar
Certificates - https://s3.amazonaws.com/oneplussupport/qc.rar
USB Drivers - https://developer.android.com/sdk/win-usb.html
Unfortunately both rar files are password protected. not sure if someone could crack them lol
With these files they were able to install the new rom remotely.

Thanks for the feedback.

How exactly does the reboot option not work after flashing recovery? I don't have a OnePlus device but I tested the routine on my Nexus 5 and it seemed to work fine.

not sure how can i explain it lol
everything seams ok on app but the fact is that the phone gets stucked on fastboot mode. the only way that we had to get out of it is by long press power button till the phone reboots :confused:

Have you followed the help instructions (displayed in the Toolkit after the device mode was not detected) and checked your device manager to see if the driver has been installed in fastboot mode?

On your pc go to the control panel, device manager and look for any item that has an exclamation mark next to it.

Also on your device make sure you have enabled the developer options and in the developer options you need to tick usb debugging and oem unlocking.
