This is an .exe file, is there any alternative for a linux operating system?
Definitely never too seriously my friend.
Can this tool still unlock the bootloader if the oem unlock option is not enabled?Awesome tool! I just bought a new 5X and tried using it to unlock and install recovery. I couldn't get it to unlock by using the "UNLOCK" button. At first I thought it was because I hadn't allowed OEM UNLOCK in the developer settings, but I still couldn't do it even after that. It worked great for installing TWRP once I unlocked the bootloader another way.
Actually my tab ha greyed out OEM unlock option, i.e., I can't enable oem unlock. How to unlock the bootloader then. Also it shows contact your carrier or connect to internet.No. This is merely a tool designed to use ADB and fastboot without the hassle of trying to remember commands and such. The OEM unlock setting must be on, and the process for unlocking your device's bootloader is still the same regardless. If it requires an unlock token from OnePlus, then you will need to go through that process (some devices have a way to bypass this completely and go straight to a bootloader unlock command), but that switch must be toggled ON beforehand.
My Lenovo Tab 4 10 TB-X304L is not sim locked. It is just not allowing me to turn OEM Unlock . I literally tried everything. I have never used a SIM card in it. Help me out..Yeah, sometimes an OEM lock option requires you to request a SIM unlock from your carrier. At least if it's a T-Mobile device. You can try talking to them through their T-Force support account on Twitter, and explain you are going overseas for a few weeks so you'll need to SIM unlock the phone. It makes sense because you can buy a SIM in various countries to save a ton of money while internationally traveling.
Once they agree to unlock it (it has to be a permanent unlock), you can find the SIM unlock option in the About Phone section of the system settings, at the bottom. From there, you submit the unlock request to OnePlus (there's a thread on how to do so this in this subforum) and wait almost exactly a week. Follow the instructions on that page and you're done. Keep in mind it does wipe your data.
Last time I posted something in one of those Q and A forums but no one replied. That's why I posted here hoping someone might know about it.
Yes thanks so much
@mauronofrio, I press "install driver" driver button: driver is successfully downloaded but seems there are some problems with installing:
'pnputil' is not recognized as an internal or external command, operable program or batch file
I driver sono stati installati correttamente
I don't have any problems running mentioned 'pnputil' in separate command line window, so I guess it is installed in my system. I have Microsoft .NET Framework 4.6.1 installed.
adb devices returns empty list. Developer Options and USB debugging is enabled on device.
Could you please advise?
Thanks in advance
