Hi,

I will take the lead on releases of this tool as Bin4ry will have less time to work on it.

Flashtool is on github : Androxyde repositories

Major feature for 0.6.5.0 is Linux and Windows editions, Drag&Drop for FTF files. Doomkernel v06 FS for locked bootloader included.

Major feature for 0.5.0.0 is a fastboot toolbox for 2011 line devices as well as BL unlock for E10,E15 and U20 devices.

IMPORTANT:
- You should always wipe userdata if you switch between Android versions (1.6 <-> 2.1). If not your phone will keep restarting all the time. This is the same for some providerbrandings even if you flash between same Android versions. So if you have this restarting problem, flash again with Wipe Userdata. If you don't want to loose your apps you have to backup them with Titanium or some other backup tool!

TA is an area holding some parameters. For examples on 2011 phones, you can find the bootloader unlock key in this zone. To relock such phones, FT replaces unlock key with an empty string in TA.

You can edit it, play with it but take care cause you can brick your phone if you don"t know really what you do.

Backing it up is useful for devs who edit it and want to keep the original content.

yes

Blagus ftf to relock 2011 devices contains only one file : preset.ta which contains an erase of a part of phone TA

Seems to be a problem with Java. You could try to update Java to the latest & greatest version.

How did you install it ? it is an installation issue, not a java issue. Java is embedded into FT and never uses any system ones.

flashtool doesn't recognise any of ftf files, it doesn't show the content what am i missing?
