What kind of external sdcard do you have and how is it formatted?
It is a Sandisk 64gb and I had the phone format it.

It is located in /mnt/extSdCard. Phone is telling me that 56gb is free with a few folders that I have placed on it right now including a clockworkmod folder.

Yeah we don't currently support exfat which is what I believe android is formatting it as. You can try formatting it fat32 in a computer.

Used goomanager as well and it worked great, but after restarting the phone the computer no longer will connect to my phone. It says something about the device is unknown id hardware and just shows Samsung in the USB box. Any ideas?

Thanks for bringing TWRP to us bigbiff. I'm also using the 64gb sandisk as exfat and prefer not to go back to fat32. Do you have any plans to support exfat in the future?

Can someone help me to understand the issue below? I never use TWRP before, only CWM. Thanks

Known Issues:

CWM backups are not compatible - please make a fresh backup in TWRP as soon as you have flashed it

I dont know if this is a isolated issue but when rebooting into recovery there appears to be quite a bit of lag between the samsung screen and the teamwin Screen anyone else seeing this? Iam using flapjaxx power tool from the playstore to boot directly to recovery. Thanks!

We don't support the format that CWM uses to create backups so after installing twrp you need to create a new backup to restore in TWRP later.

I'm not sure but you can try the new custom kernel in the original development section. I believe the N7100 guys might have fixed it and that is a direct port. I will have to put the fix into the twrp kernel too.

I don't have lag, I have a full 2 minute delay. Scared me the first time rebooting to recovery, I thought I bricked it. Not really an issue, I'm going to stay stock for a little while, it will get fixed. It's not like I'm using recovery several tines a day.

Having the same lag, had it with CWM as well, but not with stock recovery. Haven't tried new kernel as was suggested as a possible fix, but considering it...

Has anyone been brave enough to try a restore yet?

Bigbiff is the man. Use goomanager and update to the latest recovery 2.3.1.2 it solves the lag.
