Formatting data doesn't touch the OS or system partition, the recovery partition or the modem partition. It will only remove all files on your internal sdcard as well as any applications and settings.
Gotcha! I appreciate your time and the development time on TWRP very nice and easy to use interface!

Re: [RECOVERY] TWRP2.4.3.0 TeamWin Recovery Project 3/1

Wanted to know if any one else is having this issue. In file browser after deleting a file or folder going back locks up TWRP 2.4.3 going to home then going to file browser locks it up two. Had to pull battery. Going to file browser after pulling battery works fine.

And one note question.. I am on 2.3.2 still every since 2.4.0 and 2.4.1 it roes not work nice in my phone.. Let's say I want to flash a new ROM.. I can wipe everything multiple times... When I flash a new ROM... All the settings are still saved from previous ROM.... And even the old text messages remain on the phone. That is the main reason why I have not gone past 2.3.2. Any ideas on what is going on??

TWRP will recreate the necessary directories after a wipe of /data.

Also please upload recovery.log so I can see what your issue is.

Easiest would be to download the zip and install through twrp.

I am on the newest recovery and once I am in file manager and delete a folder, recovery freezes and I have to reboot back to recovery for it to work again
