man, I'm baffled. I've just rooted, installed this via ODIN 3.09 (or so I think). I can't figure out how to boot to it, or any form of recovery. I can of course get to download boot screen, but not this. I try holding power/vol up/home and nothing. All I get is a samsung splash screen that comes and goes every few seconds.

Some stupid question. I installed an app from Google Play to reboot directly to TWRP... But is there any way to boot into TWRP by pressing some buttons? I always used Power on/off button + Volume Down on different devices, however it's not working here.

Sorry for stupid question, I just got my first Samsung device and it works a little bit different here :)

Yes, home button + vol up(think up for recovery and down for download) then power and when Samsung screen comes on let go of power,

Also no need for that app if you have xsposed and wanam, you can go to the system option and enable the 4way reboot and recovery becomes an option from power menu

Hi,
Is there any difference between the P905 and the P905M? I'm trying hard to get the TWRP recovery to work on my device but so far no success at all. I always end with the message saying that the recovery is not SE Linux Enforced, or something alike. Tried the ODIN method and copying the image directly to the recovery partition using ADB but the results are always the same. I lost count of how many times I've flashed the cf-root to bring the tablet back to life.

One thing that makes me think that there is something really different between these devices is that I can't flash a P905 (no M) firmware, only the ones for my device get successfully flashed.

Any thoughts that could save my night (or day)?

Thanks.

The kernel must not be booting. Could be dtb or other issues. I can take a stab at it when I can.

Hi @bigbiff ! Any news on porting TWRP to sm-p901 ? Would you please check the stock recovery.img of SM-P901 that I had uploaded a few pages back to see if it's the same as SM-P900 recovery so we can flash SM-P900's TWRP recovery on SM-P901? Thanks and sorry for bothering!
