Hi @bigbiff. Would you please update SM-P901's recovery to 2.8.1 and with EFS backup? It's still 2.8.0! Thanks . also I had a question! MTP doesn't work in TWRP! I've installed samsung drivers and MTP works in Android but in TWRP it is unknown in device manager !

hello there, I've checked the twrp website for 2.8.1.1 and it's not there, nor can I find it here in the thread. 2.8.1.0 is also missing

am I missing something painfully obvious? lol

edit: found it on the mirror but it is missing from goo.im

Goo.im has horrible sorting. I recommend using TE.

OK, that's for sm-p900. I think we agreed that unless you need your own build for asserts this is good enough. I will add EFS for you to test.

Hi, everyone i was attempting to flash twrp 2.8.1 with v3.07 odin. i,m getting folowig message....sys rev check fail: no version/ secure magiccode check fail: recovery.
can someone help please. thanks in advance...

Any chance you can include modem backup?

The Note 3 version of TWRP includes modem backup. This would help for developers who include modem.bin in their installs. There have been times when I want to go back to a previous modem version and a restore is easier than flashing a modem version.

It's already up on the official TWRP site check for version 2.8.1.1. This is for the P-900 though, as I don't know what model you have.

Anyway, your model is the v1a3gxx in TWRP lingo, and your directory would be this one just download v.2.8.1.1, I suggest the .tar file to be flashed with Odin.
