hello,
i have a rooted Samsung Galaxy Note Pro 12.2 SM-905V edition tablet.
i see there is TWRP available for the SM-905 edition......but not the 905V yet.

i have the Mobile Odin play store app made by Chainfire dev installed on my Note 12.2. After clicking app's icon the app informed me that my device model wasn't supported yet, and to generate a "dump file" to help make a TWRP for the SM-905V model.
BTW, i did generate the dump file. ;)

My question is.....who received the dump file? Was it the TWRP team of developers? Or was it Chainfire?
Regardless, how long will i have to wait till a TWRP is available for my model now that i have uploaded the device model's file?

If it is the TWRP team that received the dump file, you guys received it a couple days ago, check your email, i guess.
i'll be posting up on Chainfire's thread too.

-have TWRP installed on my mom's Samsung Galaxy Light, and on my Galaxy Note 8.0 tablet already.
thx 4 everything folks.

oops! so i posted on Chainfire's MobileOdin thread and it seems that he has abandoned that project and is no longer working on it. So that hope of a twrp version for the SM-905V tablet is dead from that source. :p
I also found out he is permanently retiring in a couple years and has already sold SuperSU.

uh,...well if you TWRP guys can produce a SM-905V version it would be appreciated. i tried to install/flash the TWRP for the SM-905 version on my tablet and it didnt work at all. the tablet said an unauthorized software was interfering and to take it to a verizon wireless store for repair :p
had to remove the TWRP file using ES Explorer.

in the meantime i installed his(Chainfire's) Flashfire.....and made a back up of my tablet's recovery/boot/system/bootloader but it seems(unsure) that its nothing like a custom recovery in that you cant boot into Flashfire from the device being off....which makes it 100% useless. If my tablet gets caught in a vicious bootloop how will i be able to stop the bootloop if the only way to access Flashfire is through the android os that wont start up???
this sucks!!! i hate it!
i need my TWRP! not my MTV, i said my TWRP!!! lol.

EDIT: IF ALL YOU DEVS NEED IS THE FIRMWARE TO THE SM-905V MODEL, HERE IS A LINK. its a free download and will only take you 12 minutes tops for each one if you have 100mbs download speed like me.

thats the exact same thing it did to mine when i tried installing the 905twrp on it.

@bigbiff

Still having problems with adb usage in recovery.
Attached is a recovery log file.

Notice the error towards the end of the file.

E:could not open MTP driver, errno: 2

Fixed: Had to go with a much, much older usb driver.

I'm looking at taking over support for this device and all other Exynos 5420 devices.

If anyone has an Exynos 5420 device, feel free to send me a message.

New builds should be absolutely bug-free, flawless, MTP, UMS, F2FS, exFAT, NTFS all fully supported on both L and M bootloaders under the latest TWRP 3.0.x stable sources for Android 6.0.

Hey @jcadduono , I already had v1awifi updated and v2awifi updated with TWRP recently with the latest kernel. It is bug free and all. I plan on getting to v1a3g this weekend. Please PM me and we can discuss further.

Hi bigbiff,

is there a chance to port the 3.0.3.0 version of TWRP for the Qualcom (P905)?
I see on the official site of TWRP version 3.0.2.0.
The reason is, that when the install 7.1.1 ROM's warnings appear.

Thanks
