I got a bootloop here.. any workaround?

I think the TWRP ramdisk is getting too big. Can you verify your recovery partition size with cat /proc/partitions?

I will go through and recompile a kernel from our repo Exynos5420. I will go through and enable a higher compression. Once done, I will push everything to the twrp gerrit.

10MB according to DiskInfo. Not sure if that's accurate enough for you or should I post from my pc when I can run adb

I installed TWRP 3.0.2-0 over my TWRP 2.8.7.0 as I needed to install LineageOS 14.1 | Android 7.1.2 Nougat 20170711.
I now have an issue whenever charging the device the screen comes on and shows the following:
"KERNEL IS NOT SEANDROID ENFORCING - Set Warranty Bit : kernel".
Is this a TWRP issue or the new ROM that I installed?

It is most likely your rom. All that message is telling you is that you are not running the Samsung firmware. You can safely ignore it.
