OK, keep cf autoroot to flash back to stock when you flash TWRP again.

Install ADB
Flash TWRP in Odin.
Try to boot TWRP: home + vol up + power
Let it fail
Boot into Download: home + vol up + power
Flash cf autoroot
boot into android
adb shell
cat /proc/last_kmsg > /sdcard/last_kmsg.txt

Upload last_kmsg.txt as an attachment
cat /proc/last_kmsg > /sdcard/last_kmsg.txt
/system/bin/sh: cat: /proc/last_kmsg: No such file or directory

There is no last_kmsg, how do I know when the TWRP boot attempt fails? It just sits there at the screenshot I posted before. I waited about 3 minutes, too impatient?

What steps did you do in between that screenshot and trying to get last_kmsg?

Waited about 3 minutes for the device to boot into TWRP
home + vol down + power to boot into download mode
flashed cf autoroot
booted into android
installed supersu from the playstore
activated usb debugging
issued the adb commands.

Were you able to get the last_kmsg?
I just tried to grab the log again. Unfortunately, after flashing TWRP the only thing I see is still:

"Recovery Booting....
Recovery is not seandroid enforcing
set warranty bit: Recovery"

The only way to boot into Android after that is to flash CF-Auto-Root-viennalte-viennaltexx-smp905.tar and there is no last kernel log...

After wiping dalvik/cache, I keep getting an error message E: unable to mount /cache..I tried remounting it, wiping data, restoring backups, nothing seems to work. I'm stuck in a bootloop at the Samsung screen. I can still reboot in recovery, but I can't get keys to recognize my device...

Are you using 2.7.0.2? You might need to try odining stock to get out of the issue with cache.

Yup, thanks, that's what I ended up doing flashing back to stock firmware, but now I can't reroot it lol it gets stuck at cache.img

Next time after that happens, just flash the stock recovery via Odin (I found I could still boot into download mode) and it will get you out the boot loop. This happened to me when wiping cash on the latest version also.

Remember, wiping cache on the P900 can take 3-5 minutes. Bigbiff can explain why (I think it's in this thread somewhere). You may think it is stuck when it really isn't.
Yes but in this case it is saying that it is failing to mount the cache in recovery.

It's taking a while to do the secure cache erase. If this fails it seems to have issues. Odining stock recovery fixes it usually.

For me flashing twrp first then rooting works like a charm. Then in twrp need to enable the -rf option and that will allow clearing the cache for the time being.

Sorry I meant rm -rf option. This makes it so that it won't format partitions when wiping which can cause issues in some cases it seems. If you have an issue with cache, then odin stock image onto the tablet. When you flash TWRP back select this option so TWRP won't format your partitions.

Hi, can u explain what was the reason of non working external exfat sd on P900 and how did you fix it? Was it caused by enforcing selinux or was there any other reason?
Btw did u check if it is working on fat32(vfat) externsl sds? I bet it does.
