I misread your post, thought it said expensive. I'm content with Windows 7 myself.
Same here... Windows 7 has been the best OS that Microsoft has released in quite some time. But (last off-topic comment), sad to say, 8 is going to take user base away from Android.

Well, if all these great tools people have developed for us to make our job working with Android stop working on Windows 8, then you're right.

And I'll be one to say negative things about Windows 8. Not a fan.

Win8 security would not allow DL of super 1 click ( exploit) when I wanted root. I finally gave up and used XP desktop. It did, however, work well with kdz when phone bricked. No previous luck with XP(sp3). 32 bit, btw. Have not tried this sw yet.

Have you or anyone else tried this on Windows 8? Curious if it runs on it or not. Damn 64 bit systems. It may be time for me to change programming languages, as much as I hate to.
Tried it on win8 32-bit last night. Worked good. Think I remember having to unblock in properties. No compatability issues. Thanks bill.

Still working on it. Its not a major rewrite, but I've rewritten/reworked most functions along with some additions and optimization.

I'm anxious to see it. I've just reworked my trimming of rashed's build 6. Had converted 5 apps and in final result I still had 8 mb free in /system. Want to get as close as I can get to full usage as I can get. Latin Lme English (of course), calc, calendar, and desk clock converted in this attempt. Rashed already trimmed everything else that I would have. only left essential sounds and fonts. I assume that the next build will be bigger according to what I can gather from some of his statements. May need your new features.

Happy coding :D
