Bill I'm talking about phone internal storage it does free up some space but not much after removing punch of apps flash rom installed gapps internal storage memory about 142mb
In window properties zip size 88mb removed wallpapers and ringstone Apollo file manager Google voice gtts and many more how do we add apk in rom zip file we just drop apk into system app Right? correct me if I'm wrong

Sorry didn't notice you edited your post.

I haven't added the ability to add system apps for obvious reasons. Apps from your hard drive can be added by right clicking on the listview when viewing files in "User Apps". All externally added apk's are added to the ROM as user apps only.

Wow... totally agreed. You still get 48MB in system partition after installing Rom anf Gapps?!? Did you remove almost everything? I hardly still have 10MB... :p
Removing almost 18mb from build 7
Email, Exchange2, Trebuchet, VisualizationWallpapers, CMFileManager ,CMFileManager Themes, Apollo
VoiceDialer thats what i ve gone only added Trebuchet 525kb file and music player from cm9 take less space
4.1 gapps November 30, 2012 31mb
Removing,Microbes, GoogleTTS, QuickSearchBox, Talk ,added some stuff from cm9 like live wallpapers and o1 file manager take less space PhaseBeam, Noise, file manager added GenieWidget weather
Now i'm standing at 142 mb in internal storage when login to playstore that took about 18mb for updated playstore and play services so thats why im trying to make it about 150mb i dont think thats possible

I don't remember who, or where it was posted. But I have it if you want it. Haven't tried it yet, but don't see how it does anything with zero wallpapers.

Did you post that? Sorry, still half asleep.
Edit : Forgive my ignorance, but isn't trebuchet only for wallpapers?

Trebuchet is the launcher... pretty important. :p I mean, there's lots of launchers out there, it's just that Trebuchet happens to be the one CM currently uses. Though, one of the ways of actually trimming it down is by removing all of it's wallpapers... especially the HD stuff.

Thanks would be nice also, but mainly I was curious to know how many people were actually using it in their phones... since there're 51 downloads and all. ;)

lol... But, keep in mind that the Trebuchet version I posted is way back from the CM sources when Rashed released build5, and it was for CM10, so I'm not sure how it'll behave for CM10.1

Still have redx's tool, so I'll make one, and then use bill's tool for everything else. Thanks for the heads up about version.
That's good... maybe I could include that in my post (with his permission, that is), so that people could just trim it themselves. Did you happen to get his most recent release that worked? I can't seem to find any working release in my usual messy places. :p

EDIT: Damn... I'm kinda derailing bill's thread here a bit. It's kinda on topic, but kinda OT. Anyway, PM me if you're able to upload it anywhere.

Damn... What is this, trash Bill's thread day???? :D LOL, Just kidding...

With all the talk of Trebuchet, even though it's easier to replace the launcher all together, in one of my next updates I'll implement an editor for Trebuchet too. I'm not going to commit to a specific update, as I'd like to push the updates regularly with several small updates instead of one massive update.

EDIT:
In fact, I'd like to figure a way to allow OOne ROM Editor to edit the LatinIME and Trebuchet apk's without having to edit a ROM. It will take some doing as I have to rework and configure the apps code to allow for this. But it can and will be done ;)

One other thing I should mention. I've taken a break for a few days from OOne ROM Editor to work on my web site. It's been "Under Construction" for months and I need to remedy that. OOne ROM Editor and Android Flash Recovery are both now hosted on my site instead of MediaFire. Site has a write-up on Android Flash Recovery but not on OOne ROM Edior so I gotta fix that too.

Please feel free to visit my site at ShinobiSoft Software

Nice... the Android Flash Recovery looks awesome. Hmmm... Shinobi, sounds like a pretty cool Sega game I use to play. ;)

It is. And that's actually how I got the nickname Shinobi, that and my martial arts background. Not sure about you but I played the original arcade version. That was in my late teens BTW ;)

Sounds official, like a corporation. Good choice. Was viewing the help docs, locally. Just unzip, and double click index, and it opens in browser. Pretty cool. And all the links work (of course) . :)
Edit : And the website ...very professional.

The web site along with everything else that I do in the programming world is painstakingly written by hand. No templates, etc. All the HTML, Stylesheets, Javascript, and PHP scripts are 100% original and hand coded by me. There's quite a bit that goes on behind the scenes of my web site like the downloads manager, site manager, etc., that are written by me as well.

@ibub

Domo arigato gozaimasu! I try really hard to make everything I do professional. ShinobiSoft Software has actually been on the web, off and on, for about 12 years or so. ;)

As for the help, you should also be able to unzip the files into the "docs" folder where you extracted OOneROMEditor.zip's contents to. I don't remember if when pressing F1 in OOne ROM Editor if it looks for the index.html or if it just opens the docs folder itself. This will obviously be fixed in the next update to load the index.html when the F1 key is pressed.

Docs folder not in OOneRomEditor folder, so I created it, and extracted into it. Now Help / contents or F1 both open docs folder. Double click index (said before) . The only thing I don't see is a disclaimer. I'm sure you can find one of those around here somewhere.
Separate style.css is good way to go. Studied a little HTML. Don't know much JavaScript. Can muddle through a little.
