The WinDroid Toolkit is a Windows program built in Visual Studio using the C# programming language that simplifies the rooting process for many Android devices. The toolkit makes it easy to unlock your bootloader, flash a custom recovery and gain permanent root. It also includes other functions such as flashing kernels, pushing files and installing apps. Im still struggling to find a reason to root the watch r. Cant see much benefit atm.
What is everyone else doing it for? (besides to say they can )

I am on the same boat. I OC and root everything I buy but this time I am like...what for? Maybe i am missing something.

Hey. Just unlocked and then flashed twrp using this app. Now rebooting watch always goes to twrp recovery. Any ideas? Now on twrp 2.8.6.1.
Also when trying to mount gives error. Can't mount data

Caution everyone don't use this to flash TWRP, it flashes TWRP to the system instead of the recovery image so you won't be able to boot into android and you'll get errors trying to mount the images!! If you want TWRP just use fastboot to flash it!

WinDroid Toolkit v3.0 Is Now Out!

WinDroid Toolkit v3.0 has been released! It's a huge update with a material redesign, major recode and support for 43 new devices!

You can out more specific changes in the changelog here.

You can download the new update here.

All versions before v3.0 will not have their files updated anymore since I've moved from hosting on BasketBuild to Amazon S3. Please update to v3.0 to ensure you're getting the latest recovery and root files!

You need to find the image for the watch, then use fastboot to install it onto the recovery and install twrp onto the recovery image.
