Nothing helping. Everything is tried   maybe it's application issue. because Broadband is working fine. never had this issue till the last update on Same Internet connection. since i updated to latest v4.9.1 I'm getting this issue. please look at the Issue. Thanks

Unlike what this error says, this is an I/O Exception. Try downloading to a different location or launching XperiFirm as administrator.

How am I supposed to look into your issue when there's virtually no one that has it except you?
Again, this is not an internet issue, it's I/O issue (has to do with your operation system). I can't fix something I can't reproduce. Wait for 5.0.0, maybe it'll solve this, or it will at least give more specific information.

XperiFirm 5.0.0 has been released!

v5.0.0 [May 16, 2016]:
- NEW: Download management, including a download queue that's saved on your computer and loaded on launch.
- NEW: Resuming feature, including checksum verification and automatic re-download of incomplete/corrupted chunks. Just click "Start" and the download will attempt to resume (for large firmware, the resuming might take a while).
- MINOR: Better error handling and prevention.
- MINOR: Settings: "Play a sound when a download completes"
- NOTE: "Manual" button and "Unpack automatically" are both obsolete, thus were removed in this version. Firmware will always be unpacked.

Version 5.0 works fine on my Linuxes

The new version works fine under Debian Testing and Kubuntu 16.04.

Contrary to post #1699 in this thread it now runs on all my machines either with Intel GPU or Nvidia.

The only thing I was missing is an Icon file for my starter.
I stole yours via IconJack32 and converted it via GwenView to an xpm-file (see attachment).

Thanks for your fine work!

This only works for regular Sony Xperia Z ultra C6806?.. I own a Xperia Z ultra C6806 GPe, and I am having troubles getting it back to stock after rooted and flashing a custom rom.
