Flashtool Linux Version - Mirror

Does anyone have a mirror for the linux version of flashtool? Website links on flashtool.net are broken and torrents are a ghost town.

Here is the final version of Flashtool, compatible with Z/ZL

To clarify about bootloader unlock/relock :

Q : Can Flashtool unlock bootloader for a first time unlock ?
A : Yes, it does it using official sony method (get key, then issue the right fastboot command)

Q : Can Flashtool relock bootloader ?
A : Yes

Q : Can Flashtool unlock bootloader after a relock ?
A : Yes.

With this release, before unlocking first time, root your device and you will be able to backup your TA partition (Raw ta backup). By doing this, you will be able to relock / restore your TA partition and have back BE2 and all DRM keys.

Happy flashing :)

Flashtool can be downloaded from this page

For those having issues downloading, you can try this link : unrestrict.li Flashtool homepage

Can I use it to unlock bootloader allowed NO on Sony Xperia z3?

well, rahul, tbh we just need a flashtool that works at all. alternate website is defunct, torrent is incorrect version on flashtool homepage, the 'main download' site is a dumpster fire that won't let you download at all.

bought a used xperia z that came with vodafone bloatware but it seems all the links are down for this flashtool, is there a way to flash it without rooting it, i want to flash it as cleanly as possible to a stock nordic firmware where everything is untouched so it becomes identical to any xperia phone bought in sweden, that means will be2 still work and all other drm features
