[TOOL/ZL] [UPDATE 06/04/2013] Flashtool version 0.9.11.0 - Windows / Linux / Mac

Anyone have try new version of flashtool v0.9.11 http://androxyde.github.io?

Changelog v0.9.11
- This version is a big split with every previous ones. And not fully featured as previous can be.
I changed the UI framework from Swing to SWT because of a better integration with Mac UI.
Here is what is missing from previous releases :
- No multilingual UI
- No recovery installer
- No kernel installer (for 2010 devices)
- No ROM cleaner.
- Cannot Add/Edit/Remove devices.
- No TA hex editor (in pro mode)
- Version fully compatible with all 2013 devices (Z/ZL/Tablet Z etc etc)
- Unified Bootloader unlock feature with the new BLU icon. No more unlock plugin.
As for flashing, BLU is available even without any connected device, even with
unrecognized devices.
- Updated SuperSU package. Added servicemnu root hack (works with Z/ZL for all FW up to .434)
Known working for Xperia T/V too
- Added TA partition backup/restore. Using this feature, you can backup TA before unlock. Restore TA
will relock the devicee and get DRM back as well as BE2 (full complete relock). You cannot count
on this feature if ever your device is already unlocked. Missuse of this feature can brick the device.

Are there any known issues with 0.9.10.2beta6 on a Mac and getting flashmode to work? I have been unable to get Flashtool to recognize my C6506 in Flashmode. I hold the volume down button and the LED flashes green then turns off. Flashtool never moves on and after a while the phone boots up normally.

edit: Installed 0.9.11 and was able to flash the phone. I guess the Mac version does not have the TA backup feature

Help needed

Flash tool is not working for me... It's asking me to plug in the cable and press the back button like on the X10. I have a ZL and am not able to skip that step even after multiple tries... Please suggest...

For ZL unplug the device and then while holding vol down button plug the device, they do not update the picture

I just tried today, but had a problem with the drivers installation. By the way, i'm using Windows 8 64bit... i don't know if this is the problem.
Also, for Xperia ZL C6505 I could not find specific ZL drivers, only Z,
Any hint?

Just install the Z driver, it will detect your ZL too

Thanks, I just did it but receive an error saying that drivers could not be installed.

Tonight will try with a Mac, I'm afraid the problem is Windows 8 and the 64b platform

Maybe, i'm using windows 8 too but 32bit

To install drivers on win8x64 you must disable driver signature check
