[TOOLKIT] N-Cry 4.4.4 [Android 4.4.4 Nexus Toolkit [English] [Updated:06/20/14]

Hi everybody, i want to present to you here my toolkit. My English is not so good. So please forgive me

It should just be a hobby project, but with the time the project was growing.

The toolkit actually makes all that other toolkits can.

Please do not be too hard for me

Version 4.0:

-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

System requirements:

• Windows 7 or Windows 8
• Net Framework 4.0 "HERE"
• USB ADB Driver

Instructions:

1. N-Cry Toolkit download + extract (from www.crymedia.de)
2. USB ADB driver install completely
3. Under Win8, the "driver signing" are disabled when using Unsigned driver!

From the Metro Start Screen, open Settings (move your mouse to the
bottom-right-corner of the screen and wait for the pop-out bar to appear, then click the Gear icon).
Click ‘More PC Settings’.
Click ‘General’.
Scroll down, and click ‘Restart now’ under ‘Advanced startup’. Wait a bit.
Click ‘Troubleshoot’.
Click ‘Advanced Options’
Click ‘Windows Startup Settings’
Click Restart.

4. Before the first start USB debug switch in the Nexus and wait for the Windows, the Nexus has been fully installed.

5. Before starting make sure that no ADB.exe or Fastboot.exe running in the task manager!

VMware is the answer driver is somewhat difficult to install... :laugh: BUT it works :good:

If the CustomRoms are cuming, too, this will be the killer for all Noobs

First I was wondering a bit where you save the backup, but I found it. Could you give us some details about how the backup works and how we are able to restore it? That would be really great

I guess you are able to restore it with your tool

If I messed up my phone totally and was on a different rom but did an backup with your tool of my stock-rom would I be able to go back to my stock-rom with all settings and apps by restoring the backup with your tool?

Is your backup file compatible to cwm or twrp?

I'm sorry about all the questions But I really like your approach of backing up directly to pc without using the sdcard

Currently I'm trying to create a backup of "App's/Data/System" which seems to backup the SD-Card as well. - Is there a way to backup all but not the sdcard?

Before I start, not the ADB back up system is as reliable as I have accepted as replacement delivery grumbling Google yet. Compatible with CWM or TWRP backups are not. I recommend because rather to make a Nandroid backup to be reliable.

Select the backup not the SD Card Stores I will add to the new version.

Das ADB Backup ist meiner Meinung nach noch ein bisschen Fehlerhaft und unausgereift. Es sichert keine Persönlichen Daten(Telefonbuch, Bezahlte Apps etv.) und nicht die Rom selber was zum vorteil hat das man 4.2.1 sichern kann und 4.2.2 wiederherstellen kann. Kompatibel zu CWM und TWRP ist das Backup auch nicht.

Eine Option zum alle Daten und SD-Card werde ich einbauen.

The ADB backup is in my opinion a bit Faulty and immature. It ensures no personal data (phone book, Paid Apps etv.) And not Rome itself, which has the advantage that you can backup 4.2.1 and restore 4.2.2. Compatible with CWM and TWRP is not the backup.

An option for all data and SD card installed I will.

At the moment it seems impossible for a "Custom Rom" to write function so that it goes on its own, I'll probably have to rely on ADB sideload via Custom Recovery ... well let's see

Toolkit:
-. Exe * All functions are integrated into the NCry.exe.
- Main window was rebuilt.
- Custom Rom flashing has been removed!

Backup / Restore:
- An option was to secure only app's added.

Recovery menu
- A version indicator has been added, this can be updated "on the fly".

Location:
- English words added
- Spanish is slowly integrated
- Italian is slowly integrated
- Search Translator!
