When updating to the latest release both me and my friend got trojan heur autoit v3 flaged by our Anti-virus programs.

I assume this is a false positive due to the updater?

False positive. Your virus program is detecting the low level changes the the toolkit makes.

Can I use the Wug Toolkit to unroot, update to 4.4.2 then root it again without losing any data? I am on the stock 4.4 ROM unlocked and rooted currently.

Thanks in advance!

The programming language I used to write this (AutoIT) is known to get falsely flagged. Please report it to your AV provider so they can review it, deem it safe and whitelist it.

Received OTA 4.4.2...

I'm on version 4.4 and used Wug Toolkit to unlock and root my Nexus 7 (2013) last week
and was surprised when I received the 4.4.2 OTA today. I didn't try to install the update.

I will do a backup, unroot and then install the new update. I just didn't think one could
receive the update OTA once rooted.

Is it just me or is the backup messages and restore app combo not working? I backed up my messages using the backup tool in Wugfresh and the app it loads but since coming to 4.4 and subsequent versions, I have not been able to restore my messages.

Someone else recently notified me about that. I am looking into it. Worse case scenario you would flash back to an older android, restore messages.. Backup with a new app.. Hop back to the new android - then restore. Hopefully all that isn't necessary.

I used the Toolkit to unlock and root. It seemed successful but I was unable to boot into ANY recory from being powered off. No key combinations worked. SO I unrooted/flashed stock and locked the bootloader, I can now get to the bootloader screen but when I select Recovery, I get the Android belly-up with the red exclamation mark.

Does anyone know why my stock recovery is gone/corrupt? How do I re-flash stock recovery on my currently stock/locked Nexus 7?

Not working. Please fix soon.

I am now on Android 4.4 KRT16S. I have manually downloaded android 4.4.2 factory image. But I am unable to flash it with nexus root toolkit. It is not working. But whenever I flash android 4.4 factory image. It works. So fix it as soon as possible.

?

Many people have used NRT to flash 4.4.2.

Also saying "its not working - fix it" is literally impossible to respond to. Please try actually explaining what happens if you want help..
