Thanks, but I don't want to trip Knox. I don't need perm root, just temp so I can backup app data before wiping but remaining on stock.
A load of apps disappeared and Google Play Services refuses to work or update, I suspect an internal storage hardware fault. If I prove that I want to RMA before the warranty is up.

I have Moto G4 , I am trying to Root but when I try to Root it success 70% than its automatically canceled ..... Please help me out

Your only option is unlocking the bootloader
Not all models are supported can be unlocked.
Check on Motorola's bootloader unlock site

"Root strategy unavailable" on ZTE Max Duo (Z963VL) as has been the case for the past 5 months. I'm about ready to give up on ever getting this thing rooted, unless I can find a PC to use for desktop root programs.
