Touch Buttons Don't Work 1/2 The Time

hello lately my atrix has been having trouble with the touch keys, menu, home etc. half the time it doesn't work at all and it even lights up still and at random times it won't. I changed roms to and it seems to be happening? I don't understand since sometimes it is working and there appears to be no physical damage and it jsut started occuring recently. thanks in advance
