First of all, I want to leave you a forum in Spanish where we are talking about this problem. If you visit this link you can see two videos where the problem is shown. I do not have the pro version. Pro the problem is exactly the same.

I have this problem in my new RN7 and previously in an RN5. In the RN 5 it was easily solved by deactivating the gestures in full screen. But in the RN7 it does not seem to work. In this RN7 the problem lasts even when we use the navigation bar.

Some colleagues of this Spanish forum continue with the same problem even after having switched to Xiaomi.eu or any of the roms AOSP. This problem is occurring on both Tianma screens and Shenchao screens.
There are times when it works better. Others it is impossible to write and I have to leave the phone because I want to throw it out the window. Do you think it could be a problem caused by the governor?

I used full screen gestures and the performance of the touch pannel became way better

I just got my Redmi Note 7 Pro yesterday. Earlier I used Redmi 4 . Facing this typing lag and even after pressing back button many times it doesn't respond. Now started to double click then it responds.

Hi, I'm going to buy a violet soon, and I'm trying to avoid tianma screens because I had a bad experience with those and image retention, so idk if it's related but, what is your phone color? Also I want to ask what date is in your phone box? Do you have Chinese or Indian version?Thanks in advance

I have Indian variant. Just two months old 6/64 I don't have box thrown it. Anyway to check on phone. But my colour is normal

Hi.. purchased this rn7pro recently . So far used around 3 rn7pro devices . This one is having nt 36672 a Shenchao ( Indian variant )

Before installing tempered glass it was normal.after installing tempered glass don't have anything like typing issues but I feel sort of lag while scrolling in Facebook.

Not sure whether its due to miui version or something else. Will unlock my bootloader in 17 hrs .. let's see.

Anyone else facing this scrolling issue? When I'm scrolling with light hands it scrolls in the opposite direction occassionally. This is much more apparent when horizontal scrolling. Having recently purchased the device I got it replaced but even the replaced one is having touch issues. Seems like the newer lot of note 7 pro all have this issue.
If anyone has a solution or is facing the same issue pls do let me know
