Touch screen dead after flashing magisk_patched

After patching the boot.img with magisk for android 10, the touch screen is totally dead. I reflashed both pie and q. Still dead, factory reset also did not fix the dead screen. I don't see how flashing the patched .img file would kill the screen. Any ideas?

It's unlikely to be a result of flashing the patched img. You've already done pretty much all that can be tried with software. It sounds like a hardware problem.
