Touch Screen double input on single touch issue, possibly due to damaged board.

Hi, today I finally managed to unbrick my optimus one after bricking it over two months ago. I have flashed a rom that I was using previously to the brick, no problems, except, almost all the time, when I go to type, some keys, typically in the middle of the screen, double press on a single touch, this doesn't just happen during typing, but also during using some apps, and even swiping through the homescreen. It does this on all roms I flash. (Full wipe etc etc).

Any suggestions on how to fix this issue? Such as calibration tools or kernel tricks? Or is the phone just stuffed?

Try flashing any clean rom, and see if the problem continues. I've had problems with my touch screen registering inputs before. A clean wipe and flash of a rom solved this issue for me.

I'm having this problem too. I really don't know why, change kernel or flash clean ROM will Never work... To gymfreak, do you remember that for a long time ago, there is an app that will calibrate the touch screen? You can find that app and try to calibrate the touch screen... Who know that it'll be helpful or not ;)
