Firstly I have never opened any thread on xda so I don't really know what the rules are.Anyways I found this app that I didn't know about but was looking for for a really long time.
The app is called " Galaxy icon themer " ,it is a free app available on the play store.It requires root but the good thing is you can use it to apply any icon pack you have downloaded to the stock launcher.Hope this helps anyone who wants to change the icons but hates the horrible Samsung theme store icons
