before may 2017 update for 920c was working after the update no more thanks for your effort
I can confirm this. It doesn't work anymore after the update
Hey guys! I haven't experienced this issue myself as I'm still running the rom I made, which uses the previous Nougat update. It also comes bundled with this launcher already, so if anyone's having trouble with the launcher on the new update and still wants to use it, then they can just flash my rom. It's only for the 920t version though unfortunately. I wonder if the issue is just on the 920c or all Note 5 variants. Unfortunately I have a lot going on right now, so I'm not really able to check it out.

No. It's just acts like an update for your currently installed Touchwiz. Root is not needed.
Can you please tell me the steps on how i can backup my current touchwiz?

already download the apk file in my mobile and added the shortcut in it.

Well...for that you would need to be rooted. After installing the new Touchwiz, I believe the only way to restore your old Touchwiz for an unrooted device would be to either reflash the stock firmware in Odin(doesn't delete data) or do a factory reset in Settings(deletes all data). I don't think there's a way really to back up system apps on a device that isn't rooted. It's no risk really though if you think you might like it. Either it installs or it doesn't and in my opinion it's a vastly simplified and improved interface.

Please advise.

Please read the whole OP. The solution is listed there. :)
I saw this post of yours but my unit is not rooted so i don't know if i still have to follow below or not.
And i don't know how to backup the device in recovery but i downloaded the second third and i have the fourth one.

My suggestion would be to:

1) Backup your device in recovery.
2) Install a backup launcher(like Nova Launcher) from the Play Store.
3) Download "System App Remover (ROOT)" from the Play Store and completely uninstall your current TouchWiz.
4) Try installing the TWS8.apk. (Use the "APK Manager" in "System App Remover (ROOT) to install it if it still won't install on it's own.)

Note: This all assumes you're rooted of course.

If it still doesn't work after that then, then either your variant of the Note 5(if running stock) or perhaps even whatever rom you're running may have some unusual configuration that renders it incompatible.
