isn't that what you're talking about is kg lock?
Theres a couple ways to easy bypass it, i already successfully did it on mine a52s 5g, disabling system ui interface and knox apps thru adb Or thru site https://alliancex.org/ then installed other launcher ui, navigation bar, status bar, volume bar, lock screen.

As I've already told you.... I'm speaking from EXPERIENCE your speculating. I ordered my z fold 4... Which I'm typing on currently. I selected 2 trades s22ultra and iphone 13 pro... Paid the $275... Sent my devices Samsung claimed one device never came.. I said it did they said it didn't. I cancelled the card so they couldn't steal from me and still charge me. I got the emails saying in 24 hours my device would be restricted.... Did my research. Signed out from my Samsung account, flashed the carrier varitant of the rom... 2 months later I'm messaging you on said phone... On my mobile network with a clear IMEI... But hey your speculation trump's my experience so I mean, you win lol. Again have a good day.
This is an interesting post. Your purchased email and you Samsung account is the same email address?

I read posts like yhis one about how clever some dudes claimn to be by "fooling" samsung by this illegal monouver of cancelling the cards and such as stated above, shame, shame for to all of them, as they are indeed scamming by avoiding paying for a device, excuses do not change the fact, they clearly admit avoid paying what they must to pay

Its not about scamming Samsung. OP has a paperweight, member claims to have a fix. Just thought there is no way around this. If there was, I am sure there would be online shops setup that would be offering such a service immediately.

@OP should sell your phone as junk for parts, as there as many items in the phone that could be broken-down to repair others phone. You prob can get at least $200 for it and take it on the chin as lesson learned.

Thats how i got mine, bought a ~500$ worth phone solded for ~99$ 'for parts' because of 'trade in lock'
Then i just had to disable main system ui interface and knox apps just in case.

installed custom status bar app, custom navigation bar app, custom lock screen app, custom notifications app, custom volume bar app, custom launcher app(or stay with samsung one ui launcher app) and voila, now im typing from it. 🙂👍

Did you disable Knox? Did you unlock the bootloader or just flash unlocked software?

Plenty of online places do exist to do just that

If you read instead of generalizing you'd see not one person mentioned trying to scam Samsung. If anything Samsung is the ones trying to get over saying phones never arrived or are broken even thought they're packaged perfectly.

It's probably Samsungs employees doing the stealing and saying the phones were never received.

Numerous reports of Samsung phones sent in the be repaired arriving with additional damage.
Take multiple photos the day of boxing beforehand. Double box it with lots of padding and insure it always.

That's samsungs fault at first. Here in Turkey, you pay full price. After they receive trade-in device they refund discount amount to you. This is the only way to stop such thing.

The other thing is you probably should get a screenshot of the persons drivers license when making a purchase for such a large amount of money. That way the Police know where they live and they got a photo as well. If the seller is not willing to provide that info to you then stay away. I am not gonna send somebody $900 on the internet and just hope they willl send me what they promised without fully checking them out first.

That's the new way, they allow multiple trade in devices so the scumbag will select devices with the highest trade in to bring down the purchase price to the lowest possible level and sell it on arrival making hundreds in profits.

I read about this somewhere just recently. The bad guys are sure creative in figuring out how to game the system. Around here we have to be very careful of FB Marketplace. Sometimes it seems there are way more sketchy stolen items on it than legitimate items.

Always a risk when you guy items from individuals. The one thing for sure, if the deal is too good to be true, it usually is sketchy.

I'm hoping OP updates us, I wanna know whats going on with this rather strange story.
