xxalf2 100%didnot work for me.
wiped cache/dalvik then flashed but there is no statusbar and no wallpaper.
using wanam1.2
any idea?

Looking good, except when u pull down notification bar, it stays translucent then, and it should go black, looks kinda ugly.

If this can be solved, then it will be perfection, but I think until now, no translucent status bar can behave like this yet.

awesome Doc! funny you turned me on to the translucent statusbar back in the N1 days...I have had to have it ever since. thanks for doing this (so I didn't have to)

doc i tried using that guide you posted before. however when i try to decompile i do not get the smali file. what is wrong?

Failed on Omega LF2 - 5.2
Deodexed of course - no status bar showing.

FYI:
I tried 100 and 50% LF2 files.

Would and should have the stock in the OP please....forced to reflash rom now..:/
And yes dalv and cache were wiped & even tried fixing permissions

Install:
Go to recovery and wipe cache and dalvik-cache
Install from recovery.

suggestion

The transparent status bar works very well and looks brilliant except for the battery icon. What ever icons we have up there, is it possible that they dont change or if not then please replace the battery icon with something like a circular battery icon with % in it so that we sont have to keep a seperate % on. Just a suggestion.
