@Astrako:
For the same SoC there is a Bliss ROM for the Galaxy Tab A (2016 LTE).
Look here: https://forum.xda-developers.com/galaxy-tab-a/development/rom-t4006261
As far as I could read there haven't been problems reported about echos in calls or BT headset doesn't work. That doesn't mean finally that it will work (it is a Tablet, so maybe most will not use it for calls) - but I think it this is something to watch out.
What is your opinion?

I see one user, @repey6, reporting that the sound on the phone is clear, using Galaxy Tab A (2016 LTE) device with CrDroid-6.7 64bit ROM by Valera1978. Hopefully this means no echos

Yep.
On another topic - I think, all android 10 roms for SM-T580, SM-T585 devices have a problem that when recording a video after the device had entered deepsleep, the video doesn't save correctly. The file displays a very long playing time and the actual recorded video is in the end of that file (after 10 mins of freezed frame, for example), and I'm not sure the complete recorded video is displayed.

Do roms for the A3 have this issue?

This H-Vendor has some issues for me that needs to be fixed by @Astrako. He did it in sources and other ROMs seems to be fixed already. I am now doing tests with LOS17.1 (July).
Did I understand your testcase right? Wait until device is in deep sleep, record a video and look at it? This seems to work. Isn't that not the normal situation - device is to 90% in deep sleep.
The build in Camera app works, OpenCam seems to have problems.

Yes, this would be the test case. For me, on a SM-T585 device, the saved video file would not be played right, it would be very long, with the actual video playing at the end of it, I think.
I only tested it a long time ago, but as I understood on the Samsung galaxy tab a series forum, this issue still exists. I used Opencamera and I'm not sure if the issue existed when using the default camera app, but I think it did.

Can't talk about Tab, but what I have recently tested is LOS 17.1. Video works with build-in Camera app. But it doesn't with OpenCam (tested both APIs). Video playback just didn't start properly.

So I will probably next switch my daily A3 to LOS17.1, either to direct build (by @MartinYTCZ or to H-Vender (if it gets an update) + GSI.

Good to know, I could live with the default camera app for videos, I guess. Photos are ok, using Opencamera?
I'm still considering to buy an A3 for it's size, because it's impossible to find a small android phone these days. But before that I'm trying to make sure there are none of the bugs left on the custom ROMs for the phone, that would bother me.

OpenCamera has stretched preview. Default Camera in LOS17 is fine and has more features than that of LOS16. That one in 16 was poor. I miss panorama, but that hasn't work in any Custom Rom afaik.

Can you add support for A only Exynos 7870 device like J2 core, M10, Tab A 10.1 2016, J7 Prime2 G611, J7 2018, Tab Active 2 8.0 in order to flash AB GSI? Thanks.

Android 11 working okay, apart from some soft crashes; should be fine for a daily driver. Tested with 20200807 A/B Generic GSI by Erfan.
The official Google GSI does not work at all, I get an error 'unable to mount /system: invalid argument' upon trying to flash H-VENDOR after system image flashing. I've tried the ARM64 version without GMS.

2.How to build a treble vendor, assuming I can extract stock system.img? Thanks. I want to do that on non-treble devices like Tab S2.

I believe all of these ROM's have no BT call audio. Some ROMS seem to have fixed the normal call echo problems. I am using crDroid and super happy with it other than the BT problem. Super fast, rock solid. I think if anyone can and will deal with that issue it will be Astrako.
