I'd say wait until official los 16 is released, so he can update OTA. (still not the most stable, also oreo seems more buggy than before now)

09.23,latest one. Shut down your phone and enter twrp sgain, do a clean flash, and if you have x722 flash genesys 26S, boot, walk in it 5 mins, than clean flash los 16

Use otg stick so you can flash anything you want. Buy an otg cable (2euro) and a stick if you don't have one. Copy from oc to stick, than from stick to the phone. And you can acces the stick from twrp.

i'd say go for havoc 2.0 gsi or pixel experience if he wants to try pie. los 16 is buggy as hell.

Arrow and Benzo are good. I have a problem with the certification of Google services. I can not jump it.

Okay, the link mentioned the the LeMax 2.

Unfortunately the X720 Qfil does not work, we tried using several variations of the X720 Qfil back in December of 2017 and January of this year. Regardless, thanks for your interest in helping, its definitely appreciated.
