You can always use triangle away to return to "official"Once you root it will be modified.
I figured as such. Thanks!Once you root it will be modified.
Anyone?ok... so let me get this straight (forgive me - im very blonde):
If i'm on stock (sgs3 I9300) root then use triangle away - then :
1) counter reset to 0
2) in settings it WONT say modified
is that correct?
if so: does this mean Ill still get OTA updates and/or Kies is i necessary?
thanks in advance- just checking before I root as I want to use the add away app
Thank you! good so I can go ahead thenOTA maybe
Kies yes .
See how to return phone for warranty re custom rom counters .

I have the same problem. Triangle away reset counter at "1", even I flashed the stock recovery, stock rom, ICS bootloader and another thinks readed on the net. I have the app Triangle Away from the Play Store (I buy it).i've downloaded this triangle away and do a reset counter. the counter did go from 2 to 1...
No 0 for me? how does this comes ?
edit: so when i need to get it back to 0 ive got to install original rom again without custom kernel ?
edit again, now i've flashed a original rom and kernel over it. stil this
ODIN mode
product name = GT i9300
custom binary download : yes ( 1 counts )
current binary : samsung official
system status: custom.
i've dit with triangle away a counter reset, after that a rom flash in odin download mode. after that a factory reset. stil got those messages...
You may need to reroot and run triangle away from a kernel that supports it, then proceed...shark kernel does. Thanks, but when I run triangle, my counter remain on "1" so this metod doesnt work. I flashed a stock rom/factory reset and so on.... but my counter is still "1"![]()
