I have an app that I would like to use. When I run this app it says cannot run on rooted devices . Is there away to trick it into thinking I'm not on rooted device.

You could try vodoo keep root and try to unroot when you want to use the app the reroot with one click.

Time Warner cable app. With the app I can hmm watch my cable tv on my android devices but put it on my kindle and older poo getting g that error

The twc app is easy to trick.

1) Rename the superuser.apk file in /system/app.
2) remove all cases of test-keys from your build.prop. you can change it to release keys.
