I purchased the ----> Trident Cyclops <---- case after looking at it and the Otterbox.

What sold me on the Trident Cyclops was the ----> DEMO video <----. And the overall price. I ended up buying it from their eBay store. You can see the video by searching on eBay for "trident cyclops fascinate". Scroll down a bit and view the video.

I really wanted to protect the phone from scratches and drops. The video made feel like it would satisfy those 2 main requirements.

I also like the fact that I could chose from a selection of colors. I chose the Red & Black, Go Georgia Bulldogs!

After getting it and putting it on I love the grip the silicone gives me. The Ribbed sides now give me a great feeling of hold.

The screen protector doesn't seem to impede the sensitivity of the touch screen at all. It makes flush contact with the screen all over. And the screen has responded to my every whim. It is early and I'll see how this holds up.

The sensor that detects when its close to my face is not blocked and the screen cuts off as it is supposed too.

And the port/HP covers are very snug and stay in place when closed. They are easy to open also. They also give enough room to plug in my charger and HP without hindering it. If your HP jack is thicker than normal and doesn't plug flush because of the case no worries. They did include an 3.5mm extension jack. You plug your HP into it and it plugs into your phone jack. But I have some ear buds and a nice set of head phones and I didn't need the extension jack.

With the case on it also seems like it would protect it from incidental water contact. I don't believe it would protect it from drops in water that submerged it. But if you spilled water on it it would give some buffer from water damage compared to without the case.

Add to all of this the price was good too at 25$.

The only cons I have encountered as of now is the pull down menu is a little hard to get at due to the case. It is an easy adjustment. I just adjust the angle of my finger to side swipe it. Maybe since I got the case the same day as I got the phone. The phone went right in the case and I never had the chance to get used to the pull down menu without it.

Also the slip resistant silicone can also make it harder that without the case to slide into you pocket. But I feel that is a necessary consequence when gaining the security of it not sliding off what I lay it on. But this would be the same with all cases that have a silicone outer covering.

All in all I am very satisfied with the case.

I will add to my review later when I have had more experience with the case. give an long term review. Plus Ill add some links to the video later when I have earned the right to post links here.
